"happy birthday to you! happy birthday to you! happy birthday dear jennie! happy birthday to you!" rosie, jisoo, and lisa entered jennie's dorm, singing in unison.

lisa was holding a strawberry cake for jennie, the best one she could find in seoul.

"what? it's not my birthday until tomorrow!" jennie grinned as she got up from the couch to approach the three other girls.

"you're going to spend your birthday with your mom and we just cannot not have a celebration for you!" rosie stated. "happy birthday, unnie." rosie gave the shorter girl a hug.

"thank you." said jennie.

"happy birthday jendeuk." jisoo smiled before giving her an embrace as well.

"i wanna give my nini a hug too!" complained lisa as she held onto the strawberry cake.

"give it to me." rosie demanded and lisa complied.

lisa looked at her bestfriend with a smile before engulfing her in a bone-crushing hug.

"lisa! that's hurts!" complained jennie.

"happy birthday jennie!" exclaimed lisa before lifting the shorter girl up and spinning her around the living room.

"lisa! put her down you're going to hit the-" just as jisoo was about to say it, jennie's leg made contact with the lamp just beside the couch, causing it to fall to the floor.

"oops." lisa said before putting jennie down. "who owns that?"

"me. my mom gave it to me." rosie answered, chewing on a strawberry from jennie's birthday cake. "eh, it looked pretty outdated anyway."

"hey! why are you eating that?" jisoo scolded.

"it's just a piece, jeez."

"chaeng she hasn't even blown the candles yet."

"oh! my bad." rosie said before approaching jennie and holding the cake in front of her.

the three started to sing happy birthday for jennie once again, with jennie clapping her hands along them.

"now, make a wish jendeuk!" said jisoo.

"my wish is that the four of us stay strong and finally debut." said jennie, "let's all blow the candle so it can come true!"

"is that how it works?" asked rosie.

"of course!" lisa defended jennie.

all four of them blew the candle and jisoo pinched her nose jokingly, "who didn't brush their teeth today?"

"i brushed my teeth. i don't know about these two." said jennie.

all four girls laughed.

"jen! it's almost your birthday! one hour to go!" informed jisoo excitedly. the quartet spent the last two hours watching a random movie the birthday girl put on, drinking beer, and eating junk food in the living room of their shared dorm.
