"lisa, get up." rosie said, shaking her bestfriend who was still sitting on jennie's doorstop.
lisa took another sip of her liquor, which served as her breakfast, "fuck off, chaeng."
"you look pathetic."
lisa laughed sadly, "maybe i am pathetic."
"i'm sorry if i punched you yesterday."
"it's fine. i deserved it."
"yeah, you did." rosie looked at her bestfriend. lisa looked awful, her hair was all over the place and her clothes were still unchanged. thank God lisa owned an entire floor in this building or else anyone would've surely seen her at her most vulnerable state.
"i'm sorry if i barged in on you and suzy yesterday." apologised lisa, taking another sip of her beverage.
"it's okay. she was just leaving anyway." rosie said, crouching in front of her friend. "jennie unnie told me to pick you up and take you home."
"i don't want to!" lisa yelled, tears suddenly flowing out of her eyes.
"lisa, let's go." rosie said, almost as a warning.
"i don't want to leave!" lisa whined, almost like a child.
rosie's heart ached for her bestfriend, "why not?"
"because she might not let me come back." lisa closed her eyes, "i'm so scared, chaeng. i don't want to lose her. God, i'm so stupid."
"look," rosie started, "let's go to my house so you can shower, change your clothes, and get back here."
"why? i don't want to." lisa repeated in her drunken state.
"so you can look presentable when you see jennie unnie again. we'll just go home, you take a shower, change into some fresh clothes, then we'll go back here immediately." rosie tried to persuade her drunk bestfriend.
"can we buy jennie some flowers on the way back? her favorites are sunflowers and roses." lisa said, her eyes almost closing at how drunk she was.
"sure."
"m'kay." lisa tried to stand up, but she fell. thankfully, rosie was there to catch her.
"God, you're heavy." rosie commented before pulling lisa up, taking lisa's arm around her shoulder for support. "can you walk?"
"barely."
"fucking hell." rosie muttered underneath her breath.

"rosie, she okay?" jennie asked rosie through the phone.
"yeah, unnie. she fell asleep in my bed while trying to change into her clothes."
"she's naked?"
"i clothed her, is that okay?"
"of course." jennie reassured.
"she looks so vulnerable, unnie."
"i know, i can't look at her in that state. my heart breaks all over again."
"do you ... do you plan on breaking up with her?"
"of course not!" jennie exclaimed, "i understand her. i was getting on her nerves when she just wanted to rest."
"she was a complete asshole to you."
"i know." jennie sighed, "it's doesn't matter now, i'm just worried about her."
