"Atlas! what have I told you about bring strange foxes home." the new fox snapped glaring at me. I tucked my tail in between my back legs shaking.

"Oh. calm down brother she's not strange," he said wagging his tail as if not fazed by the rage of the fox.

"she's a white fox there hasn't been one in years and they always bring bad luck." the stranger was now glaring at the hunter his teeth bared as he slowly turned towards me. he started to walked forward his steps had a cousin. "Look I don't know what your game is by convincing my idiot little brother to bring you here but you better leave now." he was now towering over me his snout inches from mine as I tried to slouch down.

"i...i..I p....promise... I don't... want to hurt anyone." I said as I cover my eyes with my paw. is he going to kill me? his breath left my fur telling me he had backed up. I removed my paw from my eyes and looked up at him. but he was now looking at his younger brother.

"We need to talk alone." he snapped as they both walked into the cave. I felt relief flash through me when they left it thought for sure he was going to kill me.

it was a while before they came back out but all I knew was I was scared again. "you can stay with us but if you even try to hurt my little brother I will kill you." the stranger threatened.

"understood," I said still scared. my body lay on the snowy floor too scared to stand to even stand. the stranger left so I got off the floor and shook the snow off glad he was gone

"sorry about my brother he doesn't trust easily." hunter said smiling at me. I smiled back he was such a cute fox pup

"so your brother lets you wander around alone?" I tilted my head in curiosity but before Atlas could answer his brother did and he was not happy.

"you shouldn't stick your nose where it doesn't belong." he snapped the told his brother to leave so he could speak to me. I flattened my ears scared of what might happen. "look my brother is not the smartest but he knows how to stay away from threats so yes I will let him wander around."
