Rose's POV
I had suggested that we go out for chips. It was fun. The Doctor and Amara got on okay, but it was like as if she knows him and she isn't forgiving him for something. I was talking to my mum who was sitting next to me (her choice) and the Doctor and Amara were sitting next to each other. We were all having fun, except for Amara who hasn't even said a single word.
"Okay that's it Amara what's wrong?" I asked while cutting my mum off.
"Hmm?"
"You're acting weird! When the Doctor showed up you've seemed really distant. And it's annoying!"
At the mention of his name the Doctor looked up.
"The reason why she seems so distant is because she's putting blocks up in her mind because she doesn't want to tell me something. So there for she has to concentrate." He said simply.
"Wait you said you could only read another time lord's mind. And even then it had to be one that had a really strong connection to you."
"Well I see you didn't tell them." He said to her.
"Like I said I was trying to be normal."
"Wait I am so confused!" I said.
Then the realization hit me.
"Oh my god. You're a time lord."
"Yes and now if you don't mind I'm going to go and make another life for myself. And hopefully the Doctor won't wreck it like he has this one." She said looking at him with sad eyes.
He looked down at the table his eye filled to the rims with amazing guilt. Then just like that she left. The Doctor stood up and followed her outside.
