Being With The Doctor

Trouble Shopping

Amara's POV
Oh my god! I thought I would never say this but I don't feel like going shopping. I liked the fact that the Doctor was trying to protect me. By saying that the clothes I was wearing were to revealing. He was probably right but all well. We walked past a jewellery store.
"Can we look in there?" I asked pointing towards it.
"Can't see why not." Rose replied.
When we went in we slowly made our way around the store. We got to the engagement rings I averted my glance to avoid crying in the middle of the store.
"Hey. Are you okay?" Rose asked me in a very concerned.
I nodded. "Yeah I'm fine, just memories." I said smiling slightly.
"You sure? You look like you might cry."
"I said I'm fine!" I hissed at her.
She looked upset at my sudden outburst of anger.
"I'm sorry Rose. It's just that when the Doctor left me on earth I was his fiancé."
"Oh my god. I'm sorry Amara, I didn't know anything!"
"It's fine Rose. I guess the reason why I won't forgive him is because I still love him." I said the last part sadly while I looked into her eyes.
I thought I saw something like hurt or jealousy in her eyes. Of course she would feel that way... The Doctor has that effect on everyone.
Rose's POV
She still loved him! Wait why am I so surprised? They were engaged. Of course she would still love him. But I still couldn't help feeling jealous. She's had a connection to the Doctor that I could never have.
Amara's POV
We looked around the jewellery store for a bit longer. I looked at the engagement rings finally facing my fear. There was one that I really liked. It was a ring and the part facing up was in the shape of an infinity sign. It had diamonds halfway around the whole ring and also in the infinity sign. It was absolutely beautiful.
"Can we go now?" Rose asked.
"Sure let's go for a walk."
We found our way to a hallway which looked completely abandoned. I walked down it and came to a door. I turned around to see if Rose was still following me. She wasn't there. I turned back to find someone standing there. I screamed and ran in the other direction. I bumped into someone. And rebounded and hit my head. I put my hand to my head and felt blood trickle down. I looked up to see that I bumped into the Doctor.
"Amara move!" He yelled.
I looked at him confused but then I heard a gunshot and felt a lot of pain. I cried out and collapsed. The Doctor ran to me and picked me up. He then ran to the TARDIS and barged in. I could see the golden energy covering my hands. The Doctor slowly backed away. I saw that Rose was next to the TARDIS console watching the whole event unfold. I screamed in pain as the energy over took me. When it was over, I looked at my hands and saw that they were more tanned then before. I stood up and faced Rose and the Doctor.
"Well, how do I look?" I asked them. They both seemed to be in awe.
