Keefe had slipped the gas pills in Biana's lunch a few minutes ago. Now, Sophie and Keefe were snickering at Sophie's usual table as they thought about what was about to go down in 30 minutes. It took 30 minutes for the pills to set in.
Keefe turned to Sophie. "Do you have Biana in your next class?" He asked.
"Yeah, I do. I should be able to get front row seats at her humiliation show. Well, not too close. I don't want to have to smell her." She giggled.
"Yeah, if I were you, I would stay as far as you can from her. Those pills are nasty." Keefe said as he scrunched up his nose in disgust. "Also, don't act suspicious at all. Biana already hates you enough. No one needs to know that we're in on this."
Sophie rolled her eyes. "I won't draw attention to myself. I'm an expert at that, so it should be easy."
The key-word of that sentence was should. It definitely wasn't easy.
30 minutes into lunch Sophie started to smell it. And so did everyone else. There was a horrid aroma coming from Biana's table. Almost everyone if the cafeteria could smell it, it was so bad. All of Biana's friends had red faces because they were scared of being blamed, but Biana remained unfazed. She just held her nose and looked at Maruca, one of her minions, like the stench was her fault.
"What did you have for breakfast, Maruca? How about you leave so that you don't cause us all to die from methane poisoning. Also, I would recommend a different food choice." Biana stated like it was the absolute truth. She even turned her nose up at Maruca and waved her away.
Maruca's eyes became glassy as she turned and ran out of the cafeteria. Biana's words had clearly hurt her. Their friendship would probably never be the same.
Everyone started whispering after Maruca fled. They were probably wondering why the stench kept getting worse even though the cause had left. Sophie also caught them talking about how disgusting Maruca was. Maybe they shouldn't have gone through with the plan. No one would be whispering about Maruca, nor would they be tortured with the horrid stench that filled the cafeteria if Sophie and Keefe hadn't gone through with their plan.
It was like Keefe could feel her guilt because he said, "We got Maruca along with Biana, so this is going even better than I expected! Also, I know you feel guilty about embarrassing Maruca, but she was one of Biana's minions, so she needed to be taken down. She might even join us in trying to make Biana's life miserable. We could use a spy. We won't change our team name if she does happen to join, though. Team Foster-Keefe sounds way cooler than Team Maruca-Foster-Keefe."
Sophie giggled at Keefe's ridiculousness. "Seriously Keefe? I don't think Maruca will be joining us, but it would be nice..." Sophie trailed off as she saw Biana approach their table.
Biana had just stood up when Sophie noticed her. She continued to stalk towards their table like a panther about to prance on their prey. She was definitely ad by the snarl that adorned her face. Sophie wanted to cower under her fierce gaze.
When Biana reached their table, she flipped her hair while at the same time flipping them both off. Biana was a big fan of her birdie finger. That was the second time today!
She also mouthed I know you did this, I'm not stupid and walked toward the bathroom on the other side of the cafeteria.
"Well, that's no fun," Keefe whispered, "When we die, I just want to say that it was nice knowing you. Also, I was really hoping I would live long enough to beat my bro to a pulp."
Sophie was surprised. "Wait—you have a brother? You seem like an only child to me..."
Keefe stared at her with a confused expression until recognition flashed on his face. "Oh—I said bro, not brother, Foster." He chuckled at her misunderstanding. "He's just my friend who lives with me—well, we go more by the title of frenemies. And you guessed correctly, Foster. I am an only child, and It is so much fun." Keefe said sarcastically.
Sophie was confused as to why he didn't like being an only child, but she didn't question him any further.
The bell rang before the two blonds could continue their conversation. Sophie headed to the class that she had been dreading because Biana would torture her while Keefe headed to who knows where.

Also, I know you guys probably don't like how short my chapters are, but I have to write them this short or else I start to get lazy. And I also get disinterested in writing the chapter if it is long. So, I'm just gonna face it. My chapters won't get longer. I'm sorry, but I just can't mentally write a long chapter in one sitting. When I get to like 50 or so short chapters, I'm probably going to condense them so I don't end up with, like, 5 bazillion 3 page chapters.
Anddd....... I know you guys want to know the results for my Cross Country race, so I'll tell you! At the State Qualifiers (the first race I did in the past two weeks) the girls team got 3rd when we were predicted to get 5th!!!!! I'M SO HAPPY ABOUT THAT!!!! (Btw, that means we made state, lol) And at state the guys team placed 2nd, WHICH IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! The girls team didn't do that good, but we still did a little better than we were predicted. My time was bad, but a lot of my teammates almost got personal bests, so YAY!!!!! I just couldn't motivate myself because we had no pressure 😭😭😭 but it's all fine and dandy, I'll just do better at state next year.
I just realized that I forgot about my Halloween one-shot. What did I say, I knew I was gonna forget about it XD. I'll post the second part on Monday (again, if I remember).
The next update for this book will be tomorrow, and then I will resume my every-other day schedule. I can't wait to start writing in this book again!!
Random though: do I make Sophie and Keefe's conversations too random?
Stay safe, and have a great day/night/whatever time it is!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
