A Hidden Dragon

283 AC
Ser Gerold Hightower was left in Tower of Joy along with five loyal soldiers to protect Lyanna Stark, the second wife of Rhaegar Targaryen.

In the Trident, a day before the battle Rhaegar had send a letter to Ned Stark in hopes that they could talk and explain what had really happened to his sister, but The Stark had burned the letter and not believing that Rhaegar Targaryen wanted to talk and not caring what he had to say. He had kidnapped and raped his sister and that's all it mattered.

So tomorrow one of the largest battles started, the Battle of The Trident started, many soldiers and lords from both sides died. And Ser Barristan was injured during the battle, many royal banners of both armies were killed during the battle but the battle ended when Robert Baratheon start fighting Ser Arthur Dayne.

'Ser Arthur swinged down at another man in front of him, his blood covering his hand and his blade. He had lost count how many people had he cut down today and knew the number would keep rising. Amidst the battle his eyes saw the helmet with antlers and the deer of House Baratheon showing proudly on his chest. Arthur knew this one was Robert Baratheon and knew if he died. The rebellion would fail, without thinking twice he rushed towards him. Both his swords out, blood still leaking on the blooded ground.

Robert's grew furious at seeing him. "Dayne" he roared a cry of war and swinged his big hammer towards his torso. Without thinking he took three steps back to his left missing the hammer for a split second. Arthur moved his sword 'Dawn' to his right harm, swinging true and hard. The sound of steel hitting steel was everywhere in the battlefield. The smell of blood and screams of pain were booming on his ears, but he still heard a snap when he hit the hand.

Arthur lowered his whole body to dodge another swing, he rolled fast and stood on his legs again. His heart beating on his throat, his eyes looking at the giant man in front of him. He raised his hammer again, and slowly approached Arthur.

"This is Your End Dayne" he screamed another battle cry and swinged his hammer with all his strength to his chest. Arthur moved his body two steps back and with a rush that filled his whole body, he swinged at the small opening of his armor around his throat. His sword sank deep, and the blood started coming out like waterfall. Only then seeing Robert Baratheon fall in the ground, he took a deep breath of relief.'

Robert Baratheon died in the battle against Ser Arthur, then the rebellion army surrendered quickly and bend the knee to Rhaegar Targaryen.

A day after the battle, Rhaegar meet with Lord Eddard Stark, Jon Arryn, and Hoster Tully and explained that Lyanna Stark was never kidnapped or raped.
Lord Stark felt his whole world crumble but quickly shooked that thought away, he didn't believe him but he had no other choice.

The army started marching towards King's Landing, when they reached the city, they found the Lannister Army waiting outside the gates of Kings Landing.

Rhaegar knew why Tywin was there, why he waited. Tywin Lannister claimed that he was there to swore to Rhaegar Targaryen but he knew that was a lie. But still he had no proof.

When they entered the city, Rhaegar quickly rode his horse to The Red Keep along with Lord Stark and his Kingsguard except for Ser Barristan who was still injured and resting at the camp, and Ser Jaime Lannister who was left to guard his wife and children.

'He slammed the door open, he ran inside to see. His eyes quickly found Elia holding Egg on her arms and whispering words to him. A smile quickly spread on Rhaegar's face.
