Chapter Eighteen - Shopping Time!

I had a bad nightmare. It was about Samantha. I was walking to school (yeah I know right, I can't believe I'm walking to school), when suddenly I heard a loud crash. I turned to my left when suddenly I saw Samantha lying on the road, with some onlookers crowding her. I saw Samantha bleeding. I didn't know what to do because it's either run to Samantha and push people and say,"Get outta my way!" or to just walk away. Then I almost screamed because Samantha's head was turned into her skull. I was so frightened that I decided to walk away or even run away! And that is the part when I woke up sweating. Then next day (which is Sunday), I woke up in my pajamas, rubbing my eyes and taking my phone off the nightstand. I on the phone and looked what time it was. I put it back and went to the toilet and washed my face, mouth and eyes.

After that I went downstairs to make myself a cup of coffee. I went to the coffee maker when suddenly, I heard Samantha screaming because she usually scream when she's singing.

After I ate breakfast I phoned Zoey. She picked up the phone and said,"Hello?" Then I said,"Hey, it's me, Alyssa! I'm sorry I haven't been talking to you for about... Six days or a week? But anyway, I'm free! So... You wanna go shopping together with Carrie and Jennifer? 'Cause I got nothing to do." "OMG! Sure! I'll go! Let's go to your house. But, where is it?" Zoey said. "Oh it's at Sunny Way Road Avenue 2. My house unit number thing is 1129. Make sure you go to the right house!" I said, getting all excited because I finally get to shop with some new friends! Then she said,"Okay thanks, I'll be reaching your house at around eleven o' clock. I'll be driving you to the mall, kay?" "Kay." I smiled, even though there was nothing funny or something to make me grin. It was only 9:37 a.m. and I still haven't bathe yet so I'm going to bathe for forty-five minutes. Because I've got forty-five more minutes for brushing my hair, putting on makeup, styling my hair and packing my things that I need.

After I showered, I changed my clothes into a crop tank top that says 'Jealous Much?', a white cardigan, a pair of high waisted shorts and a pair of strappy sandals. My bag was those sling bags with tassles. My hair was braided into just one braid and it was placed on my right shoulder. The makeup that I'm using is concealer for under my eyes, BB cream all over my face, pinkish reddish blush on my cheeks, light pink eyeshadow on my eyelids and super glossy lipgloss. My earrings were these pair of small, silver hoops.

I walked pass by my mom when she goes,"Honey, stop. Where are you going?" "Oh, I'm going shopping with my new friends!" I said, smiling. Then my mom said,"Well, is there any boys? Following you?" "Nope, just me, my friend and her two other friends," I said, walking away. "Wait! Stop," my mom said. I stopped and turned around. I was so excited and shocked because my mom was holding 2 two hundred dollar note and a one hundred dollar note. I almost squeal in delight when Samantha said,"Hey, why can't I have five hundred dollars too?" "Well Samantha, your sister is going shopping with her friends. I don't want Alyssa's friends to get mad when Alyssa needs money. Honey, do you need a ride to the mall?" My mom asked. Then I said,"No thanks mom. My friends will be coming to fetch me. And by the way I'll be coming home at around four? I guess..." My mom nodded and went upstairs to her room. I sat on the edge of the couch and use my phone while waiting for Zoey.

Around 10.57 I heard Zoey's car horn. I opened the door to see who was at the gate. And I was right! It was Zoey! So I got out of the house and shout to my mom,"MOM! I'M GOING NOW! BYE AND SEE YAH LATER!"

I hop onto the car and it was really nice. It was a silver convertible, beautiful smell inside and I just love it 'cause the roof can open and close. And while Zoey was driving, she opened the roof.

Then Jennifer cranked up the music loudly and we all started singing to the song. I was the odd one out 'cause I did not know how the lyrics go so I 'fake' sing it.

Then when we reached the mall, Zoey parked her car in the carpark and we all went to the lift that's going to the shops. Then Carrie said,"Hey, is anyone hungry?"

"Nope. I just ate," I said.

"Nahhh... Too full," Zoey said.

"No, I'm not but I wanna have a light snack..." Jennifer smiled, looking somewhere else.

So then we ended up in Starbucks, sipping our own caramel latte. Jennifer was eating her chocolate chip monster cookie while Carrie and Zoey are sharing a brownie. I sipped my latte and put it on the table and as I was about to say something, Zoey said,"So girls, where should we shop first?" "Well we could go to the supermarket and buy the stuff there...?" Jennifer said, munching on her cookie. I took my latte and I was going to sip it, but then I started staring at it so I'm thinking what to say. Then I sipped my latte and said,"Well maybe we could start at Target? I mean, it's okay if you don't wanna go there first 'cause you can also go to Sephora and try the makeup there." Then Zoey said while nodding her head,"Hmmmmm.... Maybe." Then Jennifer goes,"Hmmm, maybe we can go to La Senza and go try some bras and thongs?" We all stared at her, like she said something wrong.

So then we went to H&M and tried on the clothes there.

I found these pair of beautiful, indigo studded shorts and a purple shirt which has a picture of a cat. I mean, I do love cats, right? And plus, I got a kitten (remember??)! I went to a fitting room and tried them on. I looked at my reflection and gaze at how pretty I was. I did some poses when someone was banging on my door. Then I heard Carrie's voice saying,"Alyssa! You done already?" "Uhh... Yeah! I'm kinda done right now I have to change back!" I said, quickly pulling down my shorts and taking off my shirt. I put my crop top, high waisted shorts and cardigan on and quickly rush out the fitting room with my clothes that I'm gonna buy.

After paying for my clothes, we all walked out the store and head to some other shops which I forgot the store name.

At one of this store, I found these beautiful pair of magenta flats. I sat down on the chair and tried on. It was perfect so I am gonna like, wear it for school tomorrow.

When we went to Forever 21, we saw Katrina with Cody. I kinda pity Cody 'cause he's being tortured by Katrina. Because Cody's carrying Katrina's bags.

When Katrina turned around, Zoey must've saw her so she put her hands on her hips and said,"So, Katrina. What a coincidence! I didn't know you shop here!" Then Katrina glared at Zoey and saw me, Jennifer and Carrie behind Zoey. Then Katrina said,"Uhhmmm... Do I know you, dumbass?" "Shut up bitch. I was saying something nice to you," Zoey said, rolling her eyes. We then walk away like fashion models.

After we shop (Yes, the total money I used was $471. I totally bought a lot of clothes), Zoey drived me back home and when we're almost reaching my house, Zoey said,"Wow. Your house is really like, major." "Do you think we can go in your house? I mean, I'm really dying to see your house," Zoey said, playing with the steering wheel. I just shrug. Then I was looking somewhere else and said,"I'll go check with my mom."

I went inside my house and Samantha was sleeping in her room, with her doors locked.

I went into the kitchen and saw my mom and said,"Mom, would you mind if  my friends come inside the house?" My mom nodded.

So I rushed out of the house and said,"Yep, you guys can come inside."

So Carrie was exploring the living room, while Jennifer was exploring the kitchen and Zoey was looking at the photos on a small table beside the couch. Zoey was picking up the photos one by one, looking at them carefully.Then she said while pointing at the picture," Oh my god, you have a sister?!" Then I said,"Yeah. We can't really get bothered by her 'cause she's sleeping peacefully. Zoey nodded her head and said,"Come on, let's check your room."

So now we're in my bedroom. Carrie was propped on the floor, relaxing on the pillows scattered on the floor just beside my window, flipping through my fashion magazines. Jennifer was in my desk chair, looking at the books I have. Zoey and I  are sitting on the edge of my bed. Then Zoey picked up the picture on my left nightstand and said,"Who is she?" "Oh she? She's just a friend of mine from an old school," I said. 

After they all explore whatever that's in my room, they all had to go home 'cause tomorrow's school. We have to pack up our luggage.
