Chapter Ten - Paying A Visit!
So then, I heard the door bell rang. Guess it was Jessie...
I ran down the staircase and saw Jessie sitting down on the L-shape leather sofa. She saw me too. I got for her some cookies and milk which my Mom prepared yesterday. Then, we chatted on and on until two o' clock.
We got a little bit bored so we did some games. Like, twister, boggle, monopoly and trampoline jumping outside in my backyard. It was so fun that I laughed so hard it's like I don't care about Josh and Kristie.
Jessie stayed until at night, but it's somewhere at eight o' clock.
My Mom served us chicken noodle soup. It was DELISH! Jessie gobbled up some of the soup but she doesn't really eats like a slob (I'm just saying!). After this whole fiasco thing, it was time to say goodbye to Jessie. My Mom said goodbye to Jessie like in an evil way. Ugh. Mom is so mean! Does she only cares about me?! And not Jessie?! How DARE she!
Okay, now, I'm starting to feel kinda awkward.
Yay! The awkwardness is finished!
Just then, Samantha ran down the stair case and shouted,"Mommy!!! Alyssa!!! Guess WHAT did I did during school?! I saw Alyssa and Jessie passing by my school!" "No... Jessie and I didn't pass by YOUR school," I said. Mom asked," Is this a lie, or is it the truth?""Mom! Mom! I think it is a lie!" I said, telling the truth. "NO. IT. ISN'T! I really saw you guys! You were all like chatting and stuff," Samantha quarrels with me. "Look, Samantha. It might NOT be Alyssa and Jessie. Jessie just came by our house ad chatted. And then, she left. Samantha, I think it is just other people or your imagination. Here, drink this chicken noodle soup. I just gave some to Jessie and Alyssa," mom said. "And plus, I really didn't pass by your school. I pass by our neighbour's houses. Look, I'm gonna call Jessie and ask her wether we passed by your school or not," I said.
When I finished quarreling with Samantha and mom, I walked up stairs and called Jessie.
"Hello? Jessie?" I started.
"Yep, what is it Alyssa?" Jessie said.
"Did we pass by Samantha's school?" I asked.
"Ummm... What school is it?" she asked.
"It's a kindergarten..."
"Oh well, nope."
"Thanks! Bye!"
I quickly told Samantha,"Ha! See?! We didn't pass by your school!" Samantha was embarrassed. So it IS a lie!
