BOARDING THE TRAIN, Ara could feel the pressure of her parents floating off of her shoulders. She was happy to see her friends again and was looking forward to spending the evenings laughing in the common room with a cup of tea in her hand. The last two weeks were not only hard for her, but also for Regulus. He had heard every argument between Ara and their parents and the following screams of pain. He tried to stop them but it only resulted in him having a red handprint on his face. Ara was grateful for his caring soul, but she didn't want him to be hurt. She is the older sibling, she has to protect him, not Regulus her. The thoughts clouded up her head as she walked down the train.
The Hufflepuff was looking into every compartment in order to find her friends when a she ran into a chest and a hand laid on her back to stop her from falling.
She accidentally bumped into her hazel eyed boy.
"Woah, woah. Falling for me already ?", James smiled at Ara. Just now she noticed his dimples are uneven, but that only made him more beautiful.
"Oh I definitely am. Thank you for the necklace, I'm sorry I didn't get you anything I didn't think we would give each other presents."
"Don't worry Darling. Having you in my life is already a present. But you can give me something now", and with a flick of his wand a mistletoe appeared above them.
"With pleasure", Ara had to giggle from his cheesiness and then crashed her lips onto his. Warmth spread through her body and everything tingled. Merlin, I have missed this.
"You know, you don't have to conjure a mistletoe for me to kiss you", she broke from the kiss and layed her forehead against his.
"Oh I know", he whispered against her lips and kissed her once again.
A high laugh sounded from her left and the door slid open, James quickly stepped back.
"I'll see you later", he sent a charming smile her way and turned around to search for the compartment in which his friends were waiting for him.
