Sam woke Penny about an hour later
"C'mon sleepyhead, it's time to get up" Sam joked
Penny groaned, she just wanted to go home at this point, everything that had happened, she just wanted to be in the safety of her own house
"Hmm, do i have to" Penny complained
"Do you want to go home"
"Yes"
"Then wake up, there doing the check up in here now so you don't have to get up" Sam told her
"Hmm, ok then
Shortly after she got up, the nurse that she liked retired
"Penny, i am so sorry for leaving you with that woman" she apologise
"Hey don't worry, you didn't know" Penny smiled back as the nurse looked relieved
"Oh, let's get this check going and see when you can return back to your home then!" she said as she did the check and scan of Pennys injuries"
10 minutes later, it was done "Ok, i'd say you can go home tomorrow morning" she said as Penny smiled excitedly
"However, i think you may need some clothes to change in to" she told her "You do still have your firefighting uniform here but it's a bit dusty and id say you need something a bit more..cleaner" she said as Penny laughed
"Yeah probably" she said looking over to where her uniform was
As the nurse left Sam turned to Penny "Want me to go fetch you some?" he offered
"If you don't mind" Penny smiled "My keys are in my locker back at the station though, my locker key is in my front left pocket" she said as sam took the our
"Want anything in particular?" he asked
"Anything comfortable i guess" she laughed "when you go in, there may be some boxes still lying around, if you go upstairs and go to the far right door nearest the front facing window thats my room and you'll be able to find the wardrobe from there" she said softly as sam made a mental note of where to go in her house
"Ok, i'll be back soon" he said as he left. Penny made herself comfortable and fell back asleep waiting for Sam to return
