Tree🌲Paine: TAYLOR YOU ARE LUCKY I'M 3000 MILES AWAY SO I CAN'T PERSONALLY BREAK INTO YOUR ROOM AND WAKE YOU UP.

Tree🌲Paine: Do you want me to fly to NYC and find you???

Tree🌲Paine: Ok, I'm done. Call me when you see this. This could potentially lead to a PR mess if we don't discuss it. I'm serious. And if you're ignoring me I AM NOT AFRAID TO FLY TO NEW YORK.

"Oh shit," Taylor curses to herself, groggily sitting up in her bed and clutching her phone. Fumbling at first from the sudden anxiety, she finds Tree's contact and presses the call icon. Fortunately, her publicist picks up on the first ring.

"Thank god, I was just about to book a flight over there," Tree huffs.

"Sorry, I guess I overslept," Taylor apologizes in a heavy voice, slightly disoriented from waking up 30 seconds prior.

"Damn right you did, it's past ten-thirty Eastern Time," Tree hisses angrily. If she hadn't been so tired, Taylor surely would call out her rude tone but sleepiness takes over so she lets it slide.

"Okay, so what happened? Your texts made it sound like someone just framed me for murder on Twitter."

"I know you're probably going to roll your eyes at this," Tree starts, already annoying Taylor, "but tons of candids of you and Karlie made it onto the internet just this morning."

"Wow, that's so crazy," the singer says dryly, reaching over to her nightstand to put on her thick glasses. What a shocker, unknown pictures of me made it online. Totally unexpected.

As usual, Tree lets out an exasperated sigh and Taylor just knows she's wearing that all too familiar frown on her tight face.

"Taylor, I'm serious. And to make it worse, there's a video of you on YouTube getting all jumpy from some photographer."

"Hey, that wasn't my fault though."

"I know, I know, I'm not mad about that. I'm mad because there are tons of photos of you two at a restaurant, at your hotel, visiting her house, walking down the street... and some of them even show you holding her hand. You know what that means?"
