Kai'Lans eyes slowly opened her vision still blurred. She was laying on a couch in someone's bedroom. She quickly tried to stand up but she instantly felt faint and layed back down.

"Where the hell am I" she said to herself

Just then the door opened , she quickly turned to the door seeing the man from downstairs who's apparently Hunters brother...Jackson wasnt it.

"You're finally up ms snarky, you should work on your clumsyness you'll end up with a concussion next time" he said smirking with his hands in his pocket

"Jackson shut up, where's Hunter" She said putting her hand over her face

"You're bold, you speak to your bosses brother like you don't care. I like that. And you remembered my name, that's a plus" he said now fully smiling

"Stop being a creep , where's Hunter I wanna go home" she was now sitting up

"He's downstairs he'll be coming here in a sec" right when Jackson finished his sentence, in walked Hunter

"Kai'Lan you're finally awake" he said handing her a water bottle

"Even your water looks expensive geez" she said looking down at what seemed to be a glass bottle of water

"Just drink it tiger , I had someone drive your car back to your apartment by the way" Hunter said drinking his water

"Why would you do that and how do you even know where I live" she said confused

"It's on your records in my office duh, I sent the car to your home because you wouldn't be able to drive it back. I'll drive you home before you kill me." He said rolling his eyes and slipping on his vans.

"I didn't know you were capable of dressing casually" she said smirking

"Now you know" he simply replied

"You're so bland, why can't Jackson drive me home instead" she questioned

A smile spread onto Jackson's face

"No , Jackson is irresponsible" Hunter said grabbing his keys off a desk

"I am not irresponsible, you're just upset that Kai'Lan thinks you're lame" Jackson shot back

Hunter pushed Jackson into a chair and called for Kai'Lan to leave with him

"I'm definitely telling mom you're still a bully" Jackson yelled after Hunter who was laughing with Kai'Lan while leaving the room

Hunter led Kai'Lan down the stairs past the kitchen

"You're house is so beautiful wow" Kai'Lan said gawking

"Why thank you", the pair turned around to see Hunters fiancée Claudette brightly smiling at them

Kai'Lan looked at Hunter and for a second she swore she could see him grimace at the presence of his fiancée

"Hello we've met before, I'm Claudette...Hunters fiancée" she said smiling hard at Kai'Lan

"Yes I know who you are , hello" Kai'Lan awkwardly stood there

"Claud I'm going to drop Kai'Lan home" Hunter spoke out before things could get any more awkward.

"But I wanted to watch a movie tonight, can't she just get a Uber ride home or something" Claudette whined while tugging on Hunters arm

"No. I'll be back fast, I promise" hunter said pulling away from her

"Well ok then. Be quick , it looks like it's gonna rain and theirs a tropical storm warning already, you wouldn't want to be caught in that " Claudette warned

Kai and Hunter left the house and walked over to hunters car which was waiting on the drive way

The ride to Kai'lans home was very quiet. Hunter kept his eyes on the wheel, occasionally looking over to kailan who was watching the rain drops slide down the window

"Those raindrops cannot be that fascinating Kai'Lan" hunter said with a small smile keeping his eyes on the road

"It's like watching a race, I'm trying to see which rain droplet can slide down the fastest" she replied

"Well ok then" hunter said

After that the rest of the ride was silent with the faint sound of the rain hitting the windows

Hunter pulled up to the front of Kai'Lans apartment complex

"Do you have an umbrella ? I'm not wetting my hair" kailan asked

"I do, you can use it, just make sure to bring it to me tomorrow at work" hunter said reaching over to get an umbrella from the backseat

Kailan simply thanked him, opened the umbrella and ran up the stairs of the apartments to get to her door

Slightly wet, kailan shook the umbrella and jammed her keys into the lock , opening the door and running inside

"I love the rain , as long as I'm not in it" Kailan said to herself while placing the umbrella next to the door

She made her way to her bedroom to get dressed into something warmer

While slipping on her pajama pants , Kailan heard a hard knock at the door. She slipped her pants on and went to open the door

Behind the door was Hunter drenched in rainwater

"Can I come in" hunter pleaded

Kailan stepped aside confused, letting him inside

"I tried to drive away but I realized the rain was to strong for me to see anything so I played it safe and ran up here to ask to stay until the rain passes" hunter said standing awkwardly

"Sure it's fine I guess, weird having my boss inside my house but you can stay" she said going to get the mop.

Haven't updated in so long.
This isn't much but it's something, I'm running out of ideas honestly.
Also busy and lowkey stressed.
