After highschool kai'Lan thought she would go to college enjoy her years there, get her degree and automatically end up with a high paying job.

Boy was she wrong, now that she was out of college where she had spent some amazing wild years she had to face the real world and find a real job which was a pain.

But today Kai'Lan Sara Hayes had a job interview and if she bombed this one too she would decide to set up an account on Sugardaddy.com

She lived in a 1 bedroom apartment all alone, her family lived in Atlanta and she was all alone in New York unless you counted Jada her best friend who lived a few miles away.

Kai'Lan turned off her alarm and got out of bed as today she had to dress nicely instead of  just wearing just short shorts and a loose tee letting her nips free.

She walked into her bathroom and took a deep shower she wanted to make sure her skin was glowing today after the shower she went back into her room and got dressed.

She slipped on her long sleeve black dress that went down to her knees and paired it up with black heels and light jewelry. She then went over to her vanity and touched up her wig adding curling cream to her hair to re plenish the curls.

When she was all done she grabbed her crossbody purse, her paperwork and made her way to the kitchen.

" why can't I just get money for watching tv, life would be easier.. but no I actually have to work" she said to herself as she ate a yogurt and some fruit.

As she was eating her fruit she looked down at her phone , " oh shit I gotta go" she grabbed her bag, her papers and ran out the door and locked it.

She ran down the stairs of her apartment complex almost tripping and ran to her car.

Kai'Lan drove around the parking lot trying to find a spot but every parking spot she wanted was taken.

" why the hell is this place so packed what they got going on" she said in frustration. Finally giving up she parked and got out her car making her way into the huge glass building.

When Kai'Lan  walked into the building there wasn't a speck of dirt anywhere, everyone was dressed professionally and the floors were so clear she thought she had 20/20 vision again.

Kai'Lan went up to the front desk where a tall brunette was sitting.

" hello I'm here for a job interview " she greeted the woman behind the desk

" hello there you must be Kai'Lan, I'm Nina, you can take the elevator to the 6th floor. When the elevator door opens you'll be standing right in front of Mr.Grays desk so good luck " the brunette answered happily.

Kai'Lan nodded and did just as she was told. She got into the elevator and quickly fixed herself up, she put on some lip gloss and right before the elevator bell dinged meaning her arrival to her destination she put everything away.

When the elevator door opened Kai'Lan walked out to see a huge office looking over NYC. In the chair behind the desk sat a dirty blonde haired man in a suit.

"Damn he's fine" she thought to herself

The blonde haired man motioned for her to sit in the seat in front of him

" hello " Kai'Lan greeted cheerfully

He just looked at her blatantly with no emotion on his face

" hi, your resume please" he asked with a stern look

Kai'Lan frowned but gave him the resume anyways, without saying a word the man Kai'Lan guessed to be Hunter Gray looked at her resume then back onto her repeatedly.

"You're applying for secretary/Assistant...you know that's gonna take a lot of effort" he said looking into her eyes

Kai'Lan was getting annoyed but she kept her cool " yes I do I won't let you d-" before she could finish her sentence she was interrupted

" I've never waited for anyone under me and I won't start now, if I say I need my coffee then you better get it to me, if I say I need paperwork done in a certain amount of time I expect it to be done no exceptions. This company pays a lot and I'm not gonna give anyone but loads of money for doing nothing " he said sternly

" with all due respect I understand but I'd appreciate it if you stop talking to me as if I'm your child" Kai'Lan said looking him dead in his eyes

" bold. No one has ever said anything like that to me. It'll come in handy but give me attitude and you won't be apart of this company." He said his face softening but immediately hardening after

" so does that mean I got the job" Kai'Lan's  mood lifted

" yes you got the job.. hold onto it while you can" he replied

" when do I start! " Kai'Lan questioned

" I'll email everything to you it was nice meeting you goodbye" he said looking away from her

Kai'Lan got up and grabbed her things making her way to the elevator

" thanks asshole" she mumbled under her breath

" what was that" hunter called out from behind her

" oh nothinggg" she said as she closed the elevator door

When she left , hunter was all alone in his office thoughts running through his mind about his new Assistant

"I might just like her" he thought to himself

He then went back to work not wanting to waste any more time thinking about the woman that left his office

As Kai'Lan was going down the elevator she kept thinking about her new boss

Boy was he an asshole but he wasn't just any asshole he was a fine asshole

The elevator bell dinged and Kai'Lan walked out into the lobby where Nina was sitting at the desk

" how'd it go " she smiled at Kai'Lan

" I got the job but I don't really know if that's a good thing or a bad thing right now " she answered

" trust me I understand 100 percent that man can be the devil in a suit sometimes" she said rolling her eyes

" but I didn't know he was that fineee though " Kai'Lan quietly screamed

" he is but he's engaged so watch out for the Future mrs " she said warning Kai'Lan

" I'll steer clear but thanks for helping me out see you on my first day " and with that Kai'Lan walked out of the building and into her car

She would soon get a email about her new job and she had a feeling it was nothing she would expect
