Peter was done.
He was done smiling at everyone. He was done with those days that he spent crying in his room. He was done with Flash bullying him each and every day at school. He was done with being the perfect friendly, neighbourhood spiderman. He was done with the insults people threw at him behind this back.
He was tired of everything.
Peter felt a burden being lift of his shoulders as the tears fell down one after one. Too late to stop them now...
"I'm sorry," He murmured to the world for the last time. He risked a glance at his wrists, that were cut slightly just not enough for him to die. He couldn't do it then.
"Peter," Friday spoke through Karen. "Your heartbeat is extremely fast. Do you want me to call Mr. Stark?"
Just as Peter was about to decline, he went into thought about his mentor. He thought about saying goodbye.
Peter glanced at the ground. He was very high. A fall from this height was deadly. Peter couldn't survive this. Not even with his powers...
"Do you want me to call Mr. Stark?" Friday asked again, bringing him back to the real world.
"Yes," He finally decided. Friday made the call.
Ring. Ring. Ring.
Click.
"Hey Pete," Tony called out in a cheerful voice and it broke Peter. He took a step closer to the edge.
"Mr. Stark," Peter said hessitantly, his voice breaking down.
"Peter," Tony sounded worried. "Why is your voice breaking? Are you crying? Oh, gods Pete..." A loud crash came from the background and Peter took another step. He took another step. "Peter, why is Friday telling me-"
"I am sorry," Peter interrupted him. "I am sorry... I uh.. I couldn't live up to you. I AM TIRED of living up to everyone's expectations. I..." He took another step.
"Hey Pete... Peter... Don't do anything you will regret. I am on my way," Tony requested in a calm but desperate voice. "Remember that time when Clin-"
"Tell everyone I am sorry, and that I love you guys," Peter said as he saw a glint of gold. He closed his eyes and sighed. He jumped.
The next seconds were a blur. No one could really explain want happened. "NOOOO!!!!!" Tony shouted as he watched Peter jump.
(Why is this part so hard to write? -_- I can imagine it but the words aren't comming to me!! Sorry if the next few parts are bad...)
He targeted Peter and flew in. A desperate but useless attempt to try and save him. He couldn't reach him in time. Peter hit the ground and Tony watched his life fade away. A pool of blood covered the ground refusing to stop growing.
"No no no no," Tony chanted as he slowly moved towards Peter. No, he wasn't dead. Tony refused to believe that Peter was dead. He picked him up slowly. "Hey, kiddo... it's gonna be alright, okay?" He said with a cracked voice.
Tony flew to the tower. On his way, he whispered warm words to Peter. "I am gonna take you to Bruce and he's gonna fix you all up and you are going to annoy me a lot and then we will burn labs and prank everyone and-"
Peter's eyes opened, slightly. "Mr. Stark?"
"Yes?" Tony asked.
"Why does it hurt so much?" He asked. "Ugh," Peter groaned and fell down asleep. "I'm sorry..."
Tony's eyes filled with tears. "Friday, call Bruce and tell him to get to the med bay immediately, now!!"

When a man in a metal suit breaks your window and flies into the infirmary, you know it’s trouble.
“Oh gods,” Bruce almost fainted when he saw Peter’s condition. “Put him here…”
I did as he asked. The other Avengers, who had noticed Tony flying in covered in blood, started arriving at the room wondering what had happened. Dread settled in the room when they saw Peter’s face.
Bruce bent over to check his pulse. He got up and shook his head.
“No… NO!” Tony clutched the hem of Bruce's T-Shirt. “Fix him. FIX PETER! FIX MY SON!!”
Bruce pushed him back. His face had turned green. “I can’t,” He said with a high voice. “He is dead.” The words hit Tony worse than a thousand blue whales falling upon him one by one. Bruce’s face was dangerously green. He walked out taking long steps, pushing away the other shocked Avengers.
Steve was the first to recover from his shock followed by Thor, who just ran out to get some air. Natasha, Clint and even, Bucky who were trained to react properly in such situations stood still. They had just lost their… family didn’t cover it. Peter was a part of them. A very important part. Loud crashes were heard from the training room.
Steve grabbed Tony’s arms. “WHO DID THIS!?!” The soldier said with a threatening voice that surprised everyone. “WHO DID THIS, TONY?” Tony stayed quiet. He didn’t care what was happening. As a matter of fact, he had his own share of grief to deal with and he was drowning. Steve ran his hands through his hair.
“Tony...” Steve requested desperately. “What happene-” He stopped speaking as his eyes fell on the faint cuts on Peter’s wrists. “No… No. Tony, tell me he didn’t do it,” Steve let his emotions take over and allowed the tears to wet his cheeks.
One by one, the others recovered shock only to be taken away by grief. Some ran away outside to God knows where. Some just stayed still. Some comforted the other only to end up crying. Loud noises were heard from outside but no one cared to check it out.
Peter was a part of them. A part of the Avengers. And now that part was gone.
