Part 8-hate and surprises

It's been a few days since that stream and I haven't streamed since then because I'm scared to, I've been getting a lot more hate since the other night. It's starting to really get to me and its making me reconsider this whole streaming thing, why should I continue if I get hate for things other people have said?

I have barely done anything for the past few days because I haven't had the motivation to do anything. I decided that I'm going to stream later today to hopefully talk to my chat and kind of work things out and hopefully tell them to stop hating on me and Tommy.

I have also been planning a trip up to where Tommy lives to go and surprise him, I was going to get Toby to go with me but I decided not to because I wanted to spend most of my time with just him. My parents were completely fine with me going because I have told them all about Tommy so they trust him but they are going to drive me up there. I'm going to leave on Thursday and come back on the Monday so I had 3 full days to spend with Tommy. I got Toby to give me some of Tommy's friends Instagrams so that I could talk to them about my plan so they could help me. They helped me plan everything and get Tommy's parents involved so they aren't confused when I just randomly show up.

I FaceTimed Tommy to talk to him before I start streaming later incase there is anything he specifically wants me to say or not to say. He gave me some ways to word things and told me that I shouldn't tell them exactly what is going on between us and kind of lie to them. I felt really bad that I was going lie to my audience but at the same time it was the best thing for us to do. We stayed on FaceTime for a while before I hung up to start streaming.

As soon as I started viewers started flooding in all asking questions about the other night. I waited a bit longer for more people to join before I addressed things. I was being completely spammed with the same question over and over, my poor mods were having to delete a bunch of comments because they were just being so rude.

"Ok everyone I'm going to address things, before you all start spamming hate I want to say that the other night what Tommy said to me was a joke that we have between ourselves. We call each other cute and whatever but its a joke because someone said it to us while we together and we have said it to each other since. Please stop hating on us its really unnecessary and some of it is really hurtful the last thing I'm going to say on this is that me and Tommy aren't dating we are just friends" I said

After getting that out the way I just continued streaming like I normally would and the chat eventually stopped talking about Tommy and focused on the other things I was saying which made me much happier.

I ended my stream and checked twitter to see how people were reacting to what I said, some believed me and some didn't but that was fine at least there was people now telling other to leave us alone. I found a clip that someone had taken from my stream and sent it to Tommy to see if he was happy with what I said. He replied telling me that he was watching the stream and that what I said was perfect. He told me that he replied to some tweets that he was tagged in that were extremely hurtful towards me and told them to leave me alone which I appreciated.

Skip to Thursday

Today is the day I'm going to see Tommy in person again and I can't wait. I have managed to keep it a secret from him so he has no idea that I'm going to see him. It's been over a month since we met for the first time which is weird to think because I feel like its been no time at all.

I packed my bag last night so I'm ready to leave this morning so I can get there for the afternoon. My mum had the day off work so she drove the 2 hours it takes to get to where Tommy lives. On the way there we stopped to get some lunch and while we stopped I got some sweets and coke for Tommy because I know he likes them.

After just over 2 and a half hours we finally arrived to where I arranged with Tommy's friends that we would meet. My mum gave me my bag before saying goodbye and leaving me there to just sit around and wait for them to show up. I waited another 20 minutes before I got a text to say that they were about 5 minutes away so I went to find somewhere to hide so Tommy won't notice me when he first gets here.

I soon saw a tall blonde boy walking around the corner and turning to my direction. I waited for him to get a bit closer before jumping out from behind the tree I was stood behind. Tommy looked right at me and to start with was scared because I made him jump but as soon as he realised who I was he ran right over and hugged me super tight.

"what are you doing here?" He asked

"I wanted to come and surprise you" I replied with the biggest smile on my face

"I'm so happy that you're here, there so much we can do together" he said all excited

He finally let me go and I got the chance to properly introduce myself to his friends and we all sat and talked for a while. Tommy had many questions as to how I made this happen so I explained everything that I did and the fact that even his parents knew this was happening.

After a little while Tommy's friends left so we decided to go back to his because he wanted to play Minecraft with me actually in the room with him. I had no idea where I was so Tommy had to lead the way and show me how to get to his house. While we were walking our hands kept brushing against each other and eventually I had enough and just grabbed his hand and laced our fingers together. He looked at me for a second before accepting what was happening and squeezing my hand slightly, his face was blushed but so was mine so we were even.

Eventually he stopped in front of a house and walked down the driveway to the front door, I got really nervous for a second because I haven't met his parents before. Tommy must have noticed my nervousness because he came back down the drive and took my hand again and we walked in the house together.

As we entered his parents looked towards the door and greeted me with a smile, I said hello to them and thanked them for their help in organising this. They were super nice and I was immediately less nervous about having to talk to them. Tommy led me to his room and he sat down at his desk and I sat on his bed watching him load the game.

We played Minecraft together on his pc for ages until he had to stream, while he was streaming I sat out of view but I was still listening and watching him. He was talking to big Q and I'm having to try so hard not to laugh, I snickered a little bit but other than that I held it together which was good otherwise people would know that me and Tommy where together.

After he finished streaming we decided to watch a movie together even though it was already kind of late. Luckily I don't have to worry about going anywhere because Tommy's parents were nice enough to let me sleep in their spare bedroom, I was really surprised that they were ok with it because they don't know me but I'm grateful that they were.

About halfway through the movie my eyes started to get heavy and I was trying so desperately to not fall asleep but eventually I gave in and closed my eyes.

Tommy's POV

I was watching a movie with y/n and half way though she started yawning and she soon closed her eyes and fell asleep. Her head moved to my shoulder which looked really uncomfortable so I moved so that her head was resting on my chest. I watched the rest of the movie before turning the tv off and picked my phone up to turn it off but not without taking a picture of y/n asleep on my chest.

I knew that I should probably wake her up so that she could sleep in the other room but I really didn't want to she just looked so at peace. I ultimately decided not to wake her up and just go to sleep too, if my parents saw I could just say we both fell asleep watching the movie and it would be all fine.

Authors note: I'm very aware that parents are extremely unlikely to let someone they have never met stay at their house but you know let's just go with it. I also plan to make the summer a lot longer is in reality in the uk but just kind if ignore that and imagine summer is as long as you want it to be.
