A normal day of watching Thorn in the distance as I felt my heart shattered, as I saw him with a girl named Lily who was actually quite close friends to Thorn. She was the opposite of me... pretty, intelligent, talented and many more...

"I bet Thorn likes her" I said in my thoughts as I just sigh, as I walked away to find my two best fiends as we normally would walk to go home after dismissal as I tried to fill my thoughts and my sadness about Thorn liking someone. I mean who wouldn't liked him? An naive and innocent boy, giving people big smiles by his actions.

As my thoughts were cut by someone tapping on my shoulder as I looked who it was, it was my two best friends Yaya and Ying.

"Y/n you should talk to him, it's not that hard" Yaya said as I just sigh heavily as I looked down

"I just can't... I'm too shy to face him" I said as I just crossed my arms, still looking down as Ying grabbed my shoulder.

"Y/n... didn't you heard that a disease called 'hanahaki'? That disease is really dangerous and its all because you liked Thorn" Ying said as I gave her a chuckle.

"Hanahaki? Oh come on Ying, there's no way I will get that dis-" I got cut off by coughing rose petals as blood also started to come out from my mouth, as I widen my eyes quite scared and not knowing what to do in this situation.

"Y/n are you ok?" Yaya asked fully concern about me as I just look at her as I just covered my mouth with my handkerchief.

As I started to feel warm tears coming from my eyes "No...no... I'm.
scared..." I said as I started to sob as I felt my two best friends started to hug me

"Come on let's get you home..." Ying said giving me a sad smile as I just nodded, scared if more blood or petals will come out from my mouth.

As we were close to my place as I immediately ran towards the front door, feeling that I wanted to throw up as I went to the kitchen sink, As I started to throw up blood, rose petals, and even the thorns from the roses.

I was scared, scared that I will die only because of this disease and didn't really know what to do as I started to cry once again.
