Chapter 20

Alexa POV:

I walked in one of the hallways of the castle and made a turn and bumped into a wall, wait since when where there a wall. I looked up to see the most beautiful man ever.
He had dark hair and ice blue eyes if it wasn’t for his different but perfect jaw line and lighter blue eyes, I would’ve thought he was king Luca’s twin but as far as I know king Luca has no twin.

“Sorry” I said apologizing “Yeah well look where you’re going next time” he said brushing past me, I remember what Allison told me don’t be others door matt “Excuse me” I said as whipped around “Who gave you right to talk to me like I am a piece of trash?” I asked.
I watch as he turns around tensed his eyes so cold it could cut through class and can make anyone quiver for the ground but here, I was standing my ground like no other I hope.

“And you think your better just because you’re walking around in the queen of queens castle?” he questions “Just so you know Allison would never tolerate such behavior” I said “Okay look I don’t care” he says.
“What are you even doing here?” I ask as I watched him “I can ask you the same” he said taking an intimidating step forward but I stood my ground, that seem to surprise him but he covered it up quickly putting his mask of stone back on his face.
“well if you must know I live here for the time being” I said tapping my foot impatiently. He looked familiar but I can’t seem to remember.
“Well I am looking for my sister…Ila” he said.

“Your King Jaxton?” I asked now looking at him now he seems more recognizable he was the guy that visit it Ila.
“Yes, and you are?” he asked annoyed “Greyson’s sister Alexa duh, don’t you pay attention to what my brother says or even Allison?”  I asked annoyed at his cold behavior.

He stepped closer “And who do you think you are talking like that to me?” he questions “I am me” I said and was about to make another remark when I saw Mason jogging this was.
“hey Jaxton” Mason said doing a bro shake at least he gets a warm welcome “So, where is everybody since somebody thinks she is too important to tell me anything?” Jaxton hissed out.

“Umm, about that Allison and Luca was off to Luca’s kingdom and your sister is away with a few guards and a friend” Mason said
I frowned why was he lying.

“She’s away without telling me where she went?” he asked bewildered “Yeah, she is technically a grown woman, and Allison send Justin with her to ease your worries” Mason said
“Justin, fine then its fine since I know Justin is trust worthy enough” Jaxton said “So, how’s your parents Jaxton?” Mason asks

“Breathing down my neck as usual, they have this new idea that I should find a wife before I can take over the throne” Jaxton said with his lips now pressed into a fine line.
“Mmm, woah you married” Mason said and burst out laughing “What so funny?” we ask at the same time, our eyes met and he stared at me it was if the ice in it was slowly melting away into an ocean.

“You married and having wife every freaking woman drives you insane man, no offence but your gonna need a woman that wil put up with your temper and all the shit you do” Mason stated with amusement.

Jaxton sigh “Yeah I probably die alone and Ila wil get the kingdom instead of me” he said now I stood there blinking should I go or leave.
“umm, I am going to visit my friend in town I haven’t seen her in ages bye” I said and awkwardly tried to escape keyword try.

“Oh, no Allison wil have my head leaving you on your own” Mason said I stopped and turned around I put my hands on my hips “I am going with you or without you I don’t care I told her I will go see her” I said stepping towards him.
Mason and Jaxton seemed surprise “But neither me or Donny wil be able to take you and sending you alone with just guards are a little risky” Mason stated.
