Third person pov
'I can't stop, I have to keep going! Keep going y/n, i've got this just don't stop no matter what' y/n thought as her feet hit the cement floor as she ran through the cold grey factory, her body aching. Every step she took she felt the icey cold air hit her form. Her breathing heavy, and heart pounding she felt every muscle in her body ache. The sound of gunshots pierced her like bullets. As they slowly faded away, as the screams slowly faded. She saw the entrance of the cold bloody grey factory, it was her escape she knew it was.
As she came closer and closer to the door her body began to slow down, each step she took was more painful than the last. Reaching her arm out toward the door, she grabbed its handle. Using what was left of her strength the pull opened the door, and as the door inched open she felt the cold nothern air hit her face. The feeling of true freedom right at her finger tips, then it was forced shut. "Sorry but i can't let you escape, you have to come with us" a strange voice said. y/n turned around seeing a man with a bow, its aim at her head. That feeling of freedom escaping her grasp, she knew she couldn't fight him off.
y/n feel against the door " tell me stranger, what will you do to me? Kill me? Toutuer me? Interrogate me? It won't do you any good i don't know very much of anything these days" y/n said as she leaned her head against the great metal door. The strange man walked closer toward her "no, i'm not gonna hurt you. I am Clint Barton. My code name is hawkeye" he said, looking down at her. "Hawkeye... interesting, can you do me a favor" y/n ask looking up at him. "Depends on what it is" he said "take that bow you've got there and shoot me, right here" y/n said pointing at her heart.
He sighed "im sorry but i can't do that, but i can get you out of here. We are here to save you, y/n you are why i am here, so no i won't kill you i am here to rescue you" he said crouching down to be eye level with her and she smiled slightly "i've been here for six years why now?" she ask "because we found you, you are a very hard person to track" he said. She nodded satisfied with that answer, she sighed "well then im afraid im not to useful anymore" she said with a smile "i doubt that, now then let me save you" he said scooping her into his arms.
She flinched slightly at the sudden movement of her body, she sighed weakly resting her head on his shoulder "you know in any other situation i would have tried to kill you" y/n said tiredly "yes i'm fully aware who you are, but i also know that your almost dead" clint said smiling, she nodded. As he walked the gunshots from before where no more, "so what have i missed, is the world up in flames?" she asked looking down at her hands. "In a way yes but when is the world ever not burning down?" he said as he walked down the halls of the cold building. y/n laughed "yes i suppose your right, well what now where am i going" she asked, "if you wish mr. fury wanted you to join us" he said "that cranky old bat is still alive huh? Well i guess i cant say no to him, haven't work for shield in a long time" y/n said.
"No not shield us, the avengers" he said looking down at her, she looked up at her. "What the hell are the avengers?" she asked "we are an organization made to protect the earth" he said. y/n paused for a moment, thinking 'well i guess that explains my sudden rescue' she thought to herself. "I see that is interesting, are there alot of you?" she asked. Clint nodded, y/n soon heard a muffled speaking behind a door, as they walked closer to the y/n knew that things were gonna be ok for a while. Clint opened the door to see a group of men and women standing in front of them. "Someone took their time getting here, but I see you got the girl" a man in a red metal suit said. y/n looked around her eyes eventually landed on the man with the shield, he walked up to them "it's nice to see you again y/n" he said with a smile "you to steve" she said smiling weakly.
"You guys csn bond later right now we need to get her some medical attention" clint said walking past steve, soon after y/n was bandaged and given some medication for the pain, unfortunately she was still unable to walk, and so as she tried to stand but failed miserably she was caught by a man looking up she saw it was clint "though i understand what your trying to do please stop" he said picking her up. y/n sighed as everyone gathered their things. Leaving the building the group retreated toward their plane. Leaving the old factory behind. Once everyone was in and y/n was sat down, a girl with red hair walked over to her "hello my name is natasha romanoff, code name black widow it's nice to officially meet you" she said and y/n smiled "and you as well" y/n said.
Then everyone else introduced themselves, tony, bruce, and thor, wanda, vision all introduced themselves. Clint sat next to her, through the ride back to their base 'i guess this work, no more pain so that's nice" she thought to herself. She looked over at clint and he smiled softly, "Guess we will be seeing each other a lot huh?" she said softly and he nodded "guess so" he said smiling slightly. ' this will definitely work, and who knows the clint dude is actually kinda cute.' y/n thought and smiled slightly.
