Your pov
It's been about nine months since the covid quarantine had begun, and here I sit in my section of the Avengers building. I looked up at my ceiling bored out of my mind. I sighed as I looked over at my phone, picking it up and texted the captain.
Me: hey
America's ass: hello y/n, how are you?
Me: good i'm just bored, what are you doing?
America's ass: yes it is rather boring staying inside all the time, i'm just reading one of these new books, it's called twilight
Me: oh really? Do you like it? Did you know there's a movie series for those books.
America's ass: yes i really do, and i didnt know that they made a movie about this book!
Me: well i mean if u ever want to watch it tell me we can make it a whole movie night.

I put my phone down and went to the bathroom, when i came back i saw that steve had texted me back. He said that he would love that, and that he would be done with the book by the end of tomorrow. I smiled at his response and told him that sounds great.
Time skip to tomorrow evening
I sat on my bed and scrolled thought tik tok, and chilled out just like how i did for the past nine months. I had gotten a notification it was from steve.
America's ass: hi y/n i just finished that book are you free to watch the movie tonight?
Me: yeah absolutely, yeah when do you want to come over?
America's ass: how about 7? That sound good?
Me: sounds great see you then
Americas ass: yes see you then
I smiled at my phone, I don't know if it's obvious or not but I have a crush on Captain America, I mean who wouldn't have you met him? He's literally perfect, he's nice. Strong, brave, and so sweet. It's like every time I see his smile my stomach drops into my ass and I can't speak. It's really annoying but i love it so what can you do ya know?
I cleaned my place, it was 6:15 so I made some popcorn. And got out my softest blankets, i made sure everything was as nice and comfortable as i could, then i took a shower and got in some new sweatpants, and a big t shirt that i practically swam in. I put my hair up and waited, 7 came and I heard a knock on my door and went to open it. I smiled at the sight of him in front of me. "Hello y/n long time no see" steve said smiling down at me, "yes it has, come in, come in" i said and he came in rather awkwardly, he held something behind him. "So can I ask what's behind your back?" I said smiling. "Yes you can" he said "so what's behind your back?" I asked, "do you trust me?" Steve said and i looked at him confused "yes? Should I be concerned" i asked and he laughed slightly and shook his head "just close your eyes ok" he said and I hesitantly obliged.
"Ok now hold out your hands" he said and I did so, and I felt him slip my hand through what felt like a handle. "Ok now open them" he said and i looked down to see a bag, i smiled confused and opened the bag to see my f/f (favorite food) and my eyes widened. My smile grew three times its original size "Steve you didn't have to, how did you know this is my favorite food?" i said looking up at him. "Well when you first joined us i saw you in the kitchen cooking this and you said it was your favorite, i tried to make it the best i could" he said and laughed a little. "You... you made this, for me?" I asked and he nodded, "wow... thank you" i said as i looked down at the bag 'shit why does he have to be so sweet, you can't cook for me that's literally the easiest way to get me to fall for you' i thought to myself as he laughed.
"Ok well are you ready to watch the movie?" i asked and he nodded and i smiled "ok cool, go sit down i'll get some plates and be right back" i said and he nodded, as i grabbed the plates and plated the food and got the popcorn, i walked back to see steve just sitting on the couch looking around. "You have a really nice place, it's so homie" he said and I thanked him. I handed him his place and put the popcorn on the little table in front of us and I turned on the movie. As we sat and watched the movie and ate the food, I looked over at him occasionally. It was funny because he was so immersed in the film. I looked to see he had finished eating, "can i take your plate?" i asked and he looked over and nodded "the food was great steve, i really liked it" i said and he smiled "thank you y/n" he said and watched me walk off.
I was too busy trying to keep it together 'ok y/n keep it together, ugh why does he have to be so damn cute, and when he said my name dude!' I sighed and I put the dishes in my little dishwasher. I came back to see him look over from the tv to me and smiled, I smiled back. This time I sat a bit closer than the last time but I tried not to make things too obvious. As the movie played I couldn't pay attention to it, I was too focused on the guy next to me. I glanced at him and he was looking at me. "You ok?" i asked and he nodded "sorry i got distracted" he said and i nodded as he looked back at the tv. 'How long was he looking at me? Is there something on my face? Shit keep it together you fight aliens for a living and this is freaking you out? Get your shit together girl' i thought sighing very softly. "Are you ok? You seem quiet" he asked suddenly, i looked over and nodded "no im ok" i said and smiled.
"You would tell if there was something wrong right?" he asked slightly concerned "of course i would, im ok really i am" i said and he just stared at me. I looked away, I could feel his eyes on me still. He sighed and put his arm around me, and when i tell you i lost it, my face when BRIGHT RED i looked like a goddamn tomato. A smile appeared on my face as I looked at the tv, still not focused on the movie. I heard Steve sighed "you ok" I asked and he nodded and smirked "well actually i need to tell you something and it's probably obvious but i'll say it anyway. I really like you, no actually i'm in love with you, when you smile my heart speeds up, when you laugh i feel like nothing else could be this perfect" he said looking down at me.
I sighed "oh my god, i thought i was the only one! Oh jeez this is amazing" i said smiling. "So you like me to?" he asked and smiled. I stood up " like you, hon i've been in love with you since i first saw you, i don't know why but you looked at me and that was it, that's all it took... this is so corny but i'm head over heels for you! That ain't gonna change anytime soon ''I said and he smiled and stood up pulling me into a hug and I laughed. "I'm such a dork huh?" i said as he pulled away. "Not at all doll, not even close" he said with a big smile, which just made me so much more excited though he was taller than me. I didn't care I pulled him down to my level and kissed him. He pulled me close. His lips soft and sweet, when I pulled away I felt my face flushed "to froward?" i asked and he shook his head "nope not even a little" he said a smile plastered on his cute face. "That's good because I plan on doing that alot" I said and we laughed "well so do I " Steve said, pulling me in to another kiss. For the rest of that night we watched shit movies and chilled on the couch.
