No whispers or giggles were to be heard for all the form for they were bent over there exam prep. Annabel gave a loud sniffle breaking the silence in the room. "Annabel, do you need to go to matron? She has syrup for you." Mrs. Roberts says, pursing her lips. "Oh no Mrs. Roberts!" Annabel says. That dratted Mrs. Roberts Annabel thinks, scowling. Katie suppressed a laugh and bent her head further over her work to focus. Once the end of term exams we're over, the whole form was tired and nervous. The form leaves to leaving Eva behind in the bathroom. Those mean beasts, Eva thinks when she sees they all left. Then she notices something peculiar slipping out of Dolly's drawer. It was Dolly's birth certificate. Eva gasped in shock as she realized Dolly's horrid secret. A sly smile etched onto Eva's face. Dolly was going to pay for embarrassing her to the third form, she was jolly well going to pay. "Why these Jammy biscuits are delectable." Dolly says, a petite smile on her lips. "So Dolly, how do you think you're going to do on you exams." Eva says slyly. "I- I will do jolly fine, not that its any of your business, I used to be in the south tower so I did not see you." Dolly says in an air of disgust. Eva shuddered in rage and pounced. "Oh really Dolly, I know you secret, your birth certificate fell out and I saw it. You were not too young for the fourth form, you were not smart enough for it and Mrs. Grayling decided for you to move towers because everyone in the south despised you!" Dolly gave a small whimper and ran away sobbing leaving everyone shell shocked. "Eva you beast, thats personal!" Katie shouted, trembling and red in the face. Eva took a step back then said "She deserved it, she is a rotten lier and a mean beast." Katie almost snarled. Dolly had been hiding behind a pillar sobbing and felt a little thankful for Katie defending her for they had never been very close. "Don't be mean to Dolly!" Annabel said to everyone's shock. "Honestly, what gives you the right to talk." Eva says snootily. "I may have been dreadful beasts to all of you but Dolly was the first person I genuinely liked and I saw right threw you." Annabel says, shocking everyone. "T-Thanks." Dolly says, emerging from behind the pillar. "Dolly old girl, why didn't you tell us, we would have helped." Annabel says, smiling warmly. "I-I did not want the new form to despise me to." Dolly stutters, going back into long hiccupy sobs. Daffy had no patience for crying but the whole scenario she found quite amusing. No one forgave Annabel but they had a little respect for her and everything was finally falling into place. Katie was going to turn in her french prep when she overheard a beastly row. "I suggest you leave us alone or I shall very while dunk you're pretty little head in a toilet." A group of snide looking girls walked towards Katie, red in the face. "Oh Hallo Katie." The girl in the front said. Her name was Acel and she always tried to suck up to the higher forms in order to get privileges but sadly, Katie could not see threw that. "Hallo Acel!" Katie says smiling as she walks off. "Im not sure who threatened poor Acel but that was not very kind." Katie said, tight lipped. "But she was being a mean pig!" a sturdy girl with tan skin and wild dark brown curls. "You were the one who yelled at her right, well thats not acceptable." "Don't preach." The girl says, glaring. "Whats your name." Katie says. "Jalissa." She says airly. "Lilac, Hallo there!" Katie says noticing young Lilac. "Sorry Katie but Acel really was being a mean pig, she mimicked me and was quite beastly." Lilac says timidly. "Im confused, well off you go, have a great end of term!" Katie says, determined not to feel down. Soon it was time for the gala and sports matches. "Do you think it's right to this to Annabel, It's so close to end of term and she really has been punished." Edith says. "Well I suppose thats the right thing to do." Katie says just as Daffy says "No way, she deserves whats coming for her." "Its Katie's decision because she was the most hurt by the situation." Edith says slyly. "You guys are no fun." Daffy says jokingly. "It does not matter, Edith will win anyway." Katie says smiling. And the tournaments begin! "Alright team gather round!" Cried Rain. First was the Tennis matches. Susy, Talia, Delila, Daffy, Katie, Acel and Lilac all stood nervously. " for the pairs I want Daffy and Katie. The two girls exchanged happy glances. "Susy and Talia will be playing together also." Rain says. "Delila will be playing solo and so will Acel, Lilac and myself." The girls eagerly nod. Soon Katie and Daffy were pouncing on the court against two saint Hilda's girls. Katie and Daffy ended up beating there opponents but it was a jolly close match. Delila swung high and was agile but alas, lost the match to a jolly strong saint Hilda's girl. Next up was young Talia and boastful Susy Glute. Susy Glute was quite impressive but Talia was off her game and Susy tripped on her ankle well trying to catch a pass sent to Talia. "This isn't fair we need to win!" Susy shrieked pouting. Katie followed Lilac's troubled eyes and sees the score board. 2-1 Saint Hilda's. Katie Knew that Rain could win her match and Lilac and Acel were strong, agile and straight up amazing players but how good were the saint Hilda's girls? Lilac was next, as she played her smile grew and her serves were very graceful. Lilac swung every serve at her opponents weak spot and gracefully won the match. Acel was next and even the sturdy Saint Hilda's girl stood no chance. Acel ended up winning and Katie was very pleased to see her friends smiling and complimenting her, it looked like they were all Jolly good friends. Rain was next. The Saint Hilda's captain was sturdy with a hard jawline and a determined expression that was almost scary. Rain cleanly won the match and the score was 2-4 Malory towers. The Saint Hilda's girls grumbled and said stuff like "I bet they cheated." Or "This is not the last of us, we will jolly well get those cheaters back." but Katie was in to good of a mood to notice or frankly care.
