James' POV
"Dude, nasa cafeteria ang team, tara lunch?" aya ni Raphael.
Good thing our professor announced an early dismissal today. Wala pa naman ako sa mood na pumasok ngayon. I just saw Trixie and her so called friend tss panira ng mood.
"Ge"
We headed to the cafeteria and found our teammates eating loudly. With four.. girls? Mukhang napansin din ni Raphael ang nakikita ko. We're not used to girls who joins us for lunch kasi. As soon sa Mikael saw us kumaway sya at tinawag kami.
"Dude! here!"
Parang bata naman tong isang 'to.
"Wala kayong class?" tanong ni Paolo when we arrived in the table.
Paolo has always been the responsible among us, kaya lang nagiisa lang sya kaya nadadaig sa katarantaduhan ni Mikael, well may iba naman samin na katulad ni Pao, kaya lang kalahati ng ugali namin kasing loko loko ni Mikael. Neverthless, we still love Paolo tho. ew.
"Prof declared an early dismissal" sagot ko. and turned to the four girls, the three of them were looking up at me while the other one is slowly eating her food, parang nakikiramdam. I slightly smiled at them.
"Looks like we have a guest today" I turned to the boys again.
"They are Prince friends, nakasulobong namin sila kaya inaya narin namin" paliwang ni Kirby. And I turned to the girls again.
"Hi" nakangiti kong bati, but they were all starring at me. Buti nalang siniko sila nong isang babae.
"Hi daw oy" and then they blink and smiled at me.
"H-hello" they greeted me back and slightly waved their hand. Then Prince spoke up.
"James bro, this is Yna, Louisa and Brei, taga Educ department"
"James" I introduced myself and extended my hand, medjo oa yong reaction nila na kaharap ako. I know kilala ako sa buong campus but I didnt know theyd act like this, like they were literally just, starring at me and slowly shaking my hands.
"And this-" Prince was about to introduced the other girl pero tumayo na ito.
"Ah excuse me, mauna na ako. May gagawin pa kasi ako. Yna, Louisa, Brei una na ako ah tutal may mga lakad naman kayo. Guys thanks for letting us join for lunch, nag enjoy ako bye" said the girl who elbowed the three girls. She stood up and left without even looking back. Ni hindi pa nga yata sya tapos kumain. Saka lang din yata natauhan at tatlo.
"Pasensya na" the girl named Yna just gave me an apologetic smile, pati narin yong dalawa pa.
"No its okay, tapos na kayo kumain?" i asked. dahil baka gaya nong umalis di rin nila tatapusin yong pagkain nila.
"Ah patapos na"
"Okay then, enjoy kayo. I'll just buy some food, I hope maabutan pa namin kayo" said at inaya si Raphael na pumila na.
"The girl who left" biglang sani ni Raph.
"What?"
"Yong babae kanina"
"Bakit nga?"
"She looks familiar"
Kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi ni Raphael.
"Baka isa yon sa chix mo, gago ka sa dami ba naman ng babae mo, natoral di mo na maalala yun"
Pero mukhang diskumpyado si Raph, mas lalo yatang lumalim ang iniisip.
"Im pretty sure she's not one of those girls dude, hmm IG?"
Parang tanga naman syang kinakausap ang sarili nya. Mukhang nadala sa gutom. And then I waw him taking out his phone. Binaliwala ko nalang sya at humarap na ulit, medjo malapit na kami.
"Holy Shit!" biglang sigaw ni Raph
"Raphael ano ba? gutom lang yan" saway ko. Hes acting weird jeez.
Kinagat pa nya yong kamao nya at mukhang tuwang tuwa sa nalaman na hindi ko alam kung ano.
"Now I know" ngingiti ngiti nyang sabi tsaka tinago ulit yong phone nya.
"Know what?"
"Wala, sabi ko totropahin ko si Alvarez"
And now he's talking about Prince Alvarez, wth? Whats with Prince? Seriously? ganito ang epekto ng gutom sa kanya?
"You know what dude, ako na bahala sa lunch mo okay? libre ko na. Mukhang gutom na gutom ka na eh" but to my horror nginisihan lang ako ni gago.
"Yeah, gutom na gutom ako"
