"Out!"

Napa buntong hininga nalang ako ng tumapon sa labas ng court ang smash ng kalaban. Nasa third set na kami ng laro, nahihirapan ako sa kalaban namin.

"Raf, chill lang wag mo ipressure sarili mo. we can do this okay?" sabi sakin ng ka doubles ko.

Medyo gigil na talaga ako. This is my first participation sa tournament to represent our school, simula nong nakita ko ang name ko sa passers,  I vowed to myself to ace the first place sa aking first participation and now I'm almost there and i want this game to end now.

"20-19! Last!"

Therese tapped my shoulder and told me to inhale and exhale before I served the shuttlecock to the opponent. I used my favorite tactic, and that is to deceive the opponent. It's easy for me to do that because I've been mastering it since I was in elementary. Narinig kong napasigaw ng nice ang mga kasama ko, nasa gilid lang sila ng court at nanonood samin. The shuttlecock was mine again to serve.

But to my disappointment, tumama ang serve ko sa net. The fuck.

"20 all! slide 2, players come over"

Inexplain ng ampire na since nag slide 2 kami, 22 na ang winning score. argh! lalo tuloy humaba ang laro. As we got back to our place, I saw prince na kasama ang team ko. he's looking at me as if he's telling me to calm down and finish the game, and then he nodded at me, I nodded at him too.

The opponent gave us a lob shot, which was advantage to therese since, jumping inside the court to reach the ball for a drive is one of her specialty. while I on the other hand run to the front and watch where the shuttle would land so that I can prepare my move. Luckily, the opponent failed to received therese' shot and that made the score 21-20.  I gave therese the shuttlecock since it's her turn to serve. I patted her butt using my racket, she crossed her fingers in response.

Therese delivered the shuttle nicely, so nice that the opponent received it nicely too. We stayed at the both side of the court to prepare for the attacks. Therese gave them a lob shot to give us time to breathe and prepare ourselves but to our surprise, one of the opponent jumped and hit the shuttle quickly kaya medjo napa hinto ako at tumansya kung saan nya ilalagay ang bola. I wasn't surprise that she used smash to give us back the shuttle so I set myself infront of Therese and positioned my racket to received it, I quickly returned the shuttle to them using drop shot, that made both of them run infront of me. I sighed in relief when I saw that none of them was able to get the shuttle, It made the score between us 22-20. Therese jumped out of joy and came to hug me and so did my teammates. I left them for a moment because the ampire called us to sign the scoresheet, we also shook hands with our opponents.

"Nice game Artemisians" they said.

"Well played Stallions" nakangiti naming sabi.

After saying our farewell, I went to Prince and gave him a hug, a thank you hug for supporting me. swerte ko talaga sa bestfriend ko.

"You did well Raf, we're so proud of you".
