i smiled up at akaashi as i took off my shoes.
"it's no problem really. but why were you walking around by yourself tonight?"
i looked away embarrassed. "i didn't wanna be at home right now."
"oh. it's okay. here come on let me show you the guest room." akaashi grabbed me by the hand while letting out a yawn.
he lead me to the room. "here let me get you some extra blankets just in case you get cold."
"thank you akaashi." i gave the setter a soft smile.
"it's really no problem." he said as a light pink appeared on his cheeks.
i smiled at his rosy cheeks but he turned away embarrassed, to get the blankets.
"alright i think this should be good." akaashi stated placing down a stack of blankets on a chair in the room.
i laughed. this caused akaashi to turn to me. "it's just that's a lot of blankets." i said into a giggle. "but thank you for being so generous." i got up and gave akaashi a hug. i could feel his body stiffen but i didn't let up.
"really thank you for letting my stay here." i said as i pulled away from the hug. when i did i was met with a wide eyed and rosy cheeked boy.
"uh yeah your welcome, good night!" akaashi hurried out of the room and i giggled at the action.
as i plugged up my phone to go to sleep i started to get notifications.

as i walked out of the room i felt like my heart was gonna leave my chest.
i let out a breath i didn't realize i was holding as i flopped onto my bed. i was smiling to myself thinking of the hug when my phone started going off like crazy.
