Episode Three, Part 5:
FragileDeath doesn't discriminate between the sinners

After Ammon returned to Elara to her cell, he debated what he needed to do. He wasn't ready to return to his dorm and face the brunt of his fellow guards that were waiting for him, surely enraged at him for his orders he had given when in the mess hall, and he didn't want Athena to find him and ask again why there had been another scene unfold during rations.
Remembering his promise he had made to Elara, Ammon decided to make his way down to the youth sector and check on the children she had been so worried about, in particular, Izzy. He hovered outside, peering in through the window on the glass door to figure if it was the right time to enter, or if it would be to try again some other time.
But there was only one other person from Neptunum inside, and Ammon knew that if he wanted his chance to get to know who Izzy was, then it was now or never.
He punched in the code to the door and quietly entered inside, immediately gaining the attention of the older man who was supervising the children.
"Ammon," he greeted him, reading his name tag. "What can I do for you?"
"Uh, I believe there's a girl in here called Izzy?" He said.
"Isobel Kady?"
"Yeah," Ammon nodded, assuming by logic that it was her.
"What for?" The man asked, guiding away one of the children that were beside him and encouraging him to find another activity.
"Medical," Ammon lied. "Something to do with the people we brought in. I've been told Izzy is the one I'm here for. We won't be long; I'll have her back before the children go to bed."
The man nodded, not having no reason to doubt him, and turned around and headed further into the room, returning shortly after with a young girl. She was small for her age - nine as Ammon remembered Elara mentioning - but she walked forward with a welcoming beam on her face and a kind of childhood innocence that Ammon knew was rare to see in a place like this.
"Isobel, this is Ammon," the man said. "You need to follow him to medical and he'll bring you back later, okay?"
Izzy nodded, stepping forward to Ammon without hesitation and following his lead out of the room. She didn't know where the medical sector was and so she had no clue that Ammon was taking her in the completely wrong direction and that the place he was leading her into was nothing more than a forgotten map room - barely used, if ever at all, which meant that they were safe from being found.
"Is this the medical room?" Izzy frowned, looking around puzzled.
"No, it's a map room," Ammon answered. "A place where people come to figure things out or work on missions; stuff like that."
"Oh," Izzy shrugged, already beginning to wander around and investigate everything. She picked up each object on the table she passed, trying to figure out what they were all used for and if she was interested in keeping it.
"Why am I here?" She asked, not turning around to look at him.
"Because I'm trying to figure a few things out, myself, and I think you have some of the answers I need."
"Hmm," Izzy hummed, momentarily stopping after she turned around to face him. "I don't think I have a lot of answers," she said. "I don't know what's been happening lately... You should try asking Damario."
