it had been a rough day, but you were finally snuggled up in keonhee's arms as he left you cry into him and he comforted you.
"k-keonhee..?" you sniffled, parting from his chest to look up at him.
"yes, my love?" he answered back, brushing the hair from your face.
"can i see you smile?" you asked. he paused for a second, almost as if he found your comment... offensive?
"how could i be smiling in a situation like this?" he asked, puzzled.
"well... i don't know.."
"why do you want to see me smile?"
"it makes me happy.."
that comment alone made keonhee's bright beaming smile shine, even if he didn't mean to. see his smile instantly comforted you as you quietly thanked him before returned to your position snuggled against his chest.
"get some rest, okay?" he went back to petting your hair. you nodded.
"i love you, remember that" he smiled softly and kissed your forehead.
