hwanwoong wasn't very excited to be getting a call from your friend saying you have had a little too much to drink and that they were sending you home for hwanwoong to deal with. hwanwoong luckily ended work early and expected to come home to you to hang out and cuddle... only to see a note saying you had gone out with friends. in your defense, he never told you he was going to be coming home early. if you had known, you and your friends would've planned for another night.
he sighed, getting up to prepare all the blankets and water and advil before you walked through the door. he hadn't ever seen you drunk, just a bit tipsy and that alone was difficult for him to handle, how could he handle you completely gone?
he finished and waited by the door, looking out every minute or so for your friends car to pull up. just about the 5th time he looked up, your friend was already dragging you to the steps. hwanwoong opened the door to which your friend pushed you into hwanwoong's arms.
"good luck dude, you're gonna need it"
"thanks for bringing them home safely. and yeah probably" hwanwoong waved your friend off and shut the door. he helped you take off your shoes and say you down on the couch where he gave you a glass of water.
"drink this, it should calm you down hopefully" he sat down next to you. the way you looked at him with confusion written all over your face let him know it was going to be a long night.
"what's this"

"why does water exist"
"be..cause...? it just... does?" this was round one of questions hwanwoong isn't going to be able to answer.
"please y/n, just drink the water"
"why? what is it gonna do to me? did you poison it? will i die if i drink it?" you sniffed the glasses suspiciously.
"you're more likely to die if you don't drink it..." he mumbled.
"it'll dilute the alcohol in your system to help you become sober quicker" he explained shortly before forcing the glass to your lips for you to drink it and he was glad you didn't try to stop him.
"come on, let's get you changed and to bed" he picked you up and dragged you over to the bedroom, where he sat you down on the bed and began digging through clothes for you to wear. after he had finally found a pair, he turned back to you, only to see you laying on the floor and staring at the ceiling with a blank face although he wasn't surprised, as this was still a common thing even when you were drunk as hell.
"up up, i have to change you"
"change me? i have a boyfriend!" you snatched the clothes and marched out of the room to only god knows where to change. a part of him was happy that you were loyal and still remembered he existed, but disappointed at the fact that you couldn't remember who your boyfriend was...
after what seemed about 10 minutes, he went out to check on you and there you were, just staring at things. he was always amused at how intrigued you were by the smallest things, but tonight he was just slightly annoyed and so tired.
"y/n, come on, let's get to bed" he gathered up your old clothes, taking your hand to lead you back.
"to bed? with you? i have a boyfriend, don't you know? i already told you! why are you trying to sleep with me?"
"y/n i AM your boyfriend" hwanwoong whined, hoping you'd drop all the questions and just go to sleep with him.
"you're not my boyfriend. you don't look like him. my boyfriend is kinda tall, he's a super good singer, he also has orange hair!" you described your 'boyfriend' to this 'mysterious man'.
hwanwoong's heart dropped when he realized that you weren't describing him, you were describing seoho. his member. he dropped your hand to look at you as his mind rushed to a million things. did you accidentally admit that you're cheating on him... with seoho? or was this you saying you wanted to be dating seoho instead of him? what if- why are you laughing?
"h-hwanwoong! you should've seen the look on your face! you're cute" you laughed and pinched his cheeks. well, now he knew the water he forced you to gulp down was helping.
"...okay y/n. let's get you to bed" he brought you over and tucked you in before shutting off the lights and climbed under the covers to meet you. you instantly latched onto him, all your limbs wrapping around his body. he heaved a heavy sigh before wrapping his arms around you too.
"please, go to sleep y/n" he whispered so quietly. he could feel you nod as he too, started to doze off.
"you're so cute, but please, never get drunk again...."
