With April break now in two days I had to start getting my things together. Nora could pack her stuff in 15 minutes and be ready to go. But no, I wasn't like that. My packing has always been meticulous. I don't know, I just like my things to be organized. I had a friend once who was like that. He was ridiculously uptight. I guess it rubbed off a little.I stood in my dorm room next to my bed. My side of the room was neat, I had a light blue comforter on my bed and a small bookcase next to my white painted desk. My shoes were all lined up next to my side of the closet on the hardwood floor and all my outfits were organized by color and sleeve length. Then there was Nora's half of the room...she had an All Might comforter and her clothes from yesterday were still hung over her headboard on her bed. Nora's desk for schoolwork was littered with papers and get this. She has an Eraserhead pencil eraser.
I laughed a little to myself when I thought about my old friend and how Nora's half of the room would be his worst nightmare. But anyways I sat down on my bed and pulled myself up and against my headboard. I then brought over my laptop from the other side of my bed into my lap and began to look over my work. There was no way I'd be able to finish this all in the two days before break. But still, I just sighed and got down to business.
After working on assignments for about three hours. Nora came up and asked me if I wanted to go out and get dinner with her. I wasn't sure at first with all my incomplete work, but when the begging started I gave in.

"Come on (y/n). You're gonna love this place." Nora shouted as I slowly trotted behind her as we walked to the restaurant. The street was always a pretty sight in the evening. The lights were shining with so many different colors of neon and and the sidewalk was filled with people. But above everything, into the sky, I swore I saw a large pair of crimson wings fly overhead.
Then not too long after, a black Mercedes Benz pulled up near and an auburn haired man with a plague mask got out. I swore the person who got out was just so familiar to me. But I couldn't put my finger on him. The way he slammed the door shut, and the way he walked with haste into a, what I knew to be abandoned bar, across the street captivated me. This wasn't just someone you'd see casually every day. No, this man made his presence known and yet unknown at the same time. The moment stuck in my head for a while. Even into my dinner. Who could he be?
Why was he so familiar to me?

Anyways the next day passed and soon enough it was time for April break. Nora had been a damn good hype man for the last hour while she packed her things. I was already packed, but Nora liked to make it her provocative to always pack at last minute. This was just to be expected.
One of Nora's friends had the car that we'd be driving to the apartment with. I was originally against the idea of a carpool, but when the alternative was taking the train, I quickly got on board.
We soon enough packed all our luggage into the trunk of Nora's friends SUV and of course Nora got shotgun. I was in the back behind the driver and was just planning on spending the 45 minute drive looking out the window.
