so if you guys remember back in my tsundere nagito oneshot I asked about a neko nagito oneshot?

au where izuru takes nagito's place in the nwp. also, it does take place during island mode but monokuma and monomi are there.

Nagito's POV:
So I woke up and-

"Ow!"

Something hit the wall, but it wasn't any of my body parts that I know to exist. When I looked back with a confused look, I almost screamed.

"What in Izuru Kamukura's name is this-"

"Wait no- that's my friend-"

I attempted to get up but I guess that wasn't an option for today. When I left my bed I immediately face-planted onto the floor. A scream of pain left my mouth but I didn't bother moving. I guess someone heard me and they came running into my cottage.

"Nagito, what h- oh what the fuck."

By his voice, I knew it was Izuru. Though I don't think I've ever heard him cuss in the 34 days we've been here so he must've been surprised with something. "Nagito I'm sorry but why do you have a cat tail?" He walked over to me. "And ears too."

"WHAT-"

"Are you alright?" My face was still on the floor so he forced me to turn over and look at him.

"Oh wow... his eyes are pretty"

"I-" My face went a soft pink. "I'm sorry what?" He pets my head. "Cat ears." I lightly flinched, for some reason, and tried getting up again. This time I didn't fall, Izuru just didn't let me get up. "Don't, you're gonna fall again." I'm guessing by the tone in his voice he was being serious.

He picked me up bridal style and set me back down on my bed. "I doubt Monomi will have an explanation for this so I'll try to get Monokuma in here," He told me, caressing my cheek softly. "Are you ok with that?" He gently rubbed my forehead to ease some of the pain from when I fell. I simply nodded.

Now that I think about it, Izuru treats me more like a boyfriend than just a close friend (minus the kissing), and I've wanted to ask him about it but never built up the courage. Truth is, I fell in love with him as soon as I saw his beautiful face on the beach just a little over a month ago. I wouldn't mind being his lover, and I'm sure he'd be an amazing boyf-

-"Alright Mr. Emo, what did you call me in here for?"

A rather annoying voice that I was far too familiar with interrupted my gay daydreaming (really wish it didn't), and I looked over at the source. I saw Izuru and Monokuma talking.

"I'm assuming you're worried about your pathetic boyfriend over here?"

"He's no- nevermind..."

"Seriously though, what's the issue?"

"Did you turn Nagito into a catboy?"

After hearing those words come out of his mouth, the way he sounded like he regretted saying it made me burst out in laughter. They both ignored my obnoxious laughter and kept talking.

"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. Who knows?"

"Yes or no?"

"No need to get demanding grumpy-pants, yes I did turn him into a catboy, for like a week."
