"JAMIE, TELL YOUR AUNT about your favourite classmate," Luka said, from the other side of the screen. Luka was my elder brother.

Jamie clapped and pushed himself forward to tell me about his classmate. "Her name is Zevy," he admitted shyly.

"Woooh, so it's a girl eh?"

Jamie giggled and nodded. "Someone stole her juice box before break and she started crying. I gave her mine and she kissed me on the cheek," he said. I raised my hands over my mouth and pretended to be over-excited for him.

"Seriously?"

"Yes, Aunt Terry. I think I love her," he said, using his nickname for me. Asterin didn't stick in his mind for some reason.

I glared at my brother who was laughing with his fist in his mouth. He was clearly enjoying this while I tried to think of a gentle way to tell Jamie that he wasn't in love. Should I even tell him that? I mean, he was a kid!

"No buddy, you can't love her without introducing her to your Aunty. I want to see her first," I said and Jamie pouted. "When I come there for Christmas, you can introduce us to each other."

"But she is really pretty," He insisted with his cute little mouth and I wanted to hug the boy close to me and squeeze his cheeks. How could someone be this cute?

"Don't be like your Daddy and get your heart broken by every girl in town, Jamie." I said.

"Why would someone break my heart?" My nephew asked me, innocently. His black eyes rounded in curiosity. If only you knew, you precious little thing.

"Hey, Asterin!" Layla slid in next to my brother and he immediately wrapped his arm around her. Her raven hair cascaded down, reaching her waist and falling on her pregnant belly.

"How is my niece doing? Is she kicking a lot?" I enquired, smiling.

"No, she is a quiet baby, giving her mummy no trouble. I love her already," she smiled, smiling down at her belly lovingly.

"Then, she is going to cause you double the trouble when she comes out, I am telling you," I joked. "And like my darling boy Jamie, she is going to love me more than my brother."

"Asterin, I am the father. They love me more," Luka said and I rolled my eyes.

"Yes, you are the father. That's exactly why they will love me more. I spoil them more than you do and I never scold," I said, while I noticed Jamie busying himself with his toy car. Layla chuckled at that and Luka snorted. Seeing this happy family was truly a bundle of joy. Their smiles and their loving glances at each other was everything. I wished one day I could have such a happy family myself, with lots of children and a loving husband.

Suddenly, Gale came into my mind but following him, thoughts about Jayce creeped in too. My face contorted into an absurd expression, immediately dissing the thought.

"So, Asterin, how are you? Are you okay?" Luka asked me, telling Jamie to go play with his toys in the living room. My nephew sent me a flying kiss and said he loved me before he ran away.

"I am okay, I guess. It's been a month now. I want to move on and I am trying but it's hard. The good thing is that I am not crying anymore or going to the bar," I said and Luka sent me a relieved smile. I had drunk-dialed my brother late in the night and he had been really worried. He was about to fly down here when he learned of what happened. I begged him not to, and to keep this to himself. He kept his word.
