Chapter Nineteen: Blurred Lines
Words: 1446

Chills trailing down my spine while a sense of realization that something isn't as it should be hit me. Like a deer staring into the eyes of a hunter in its final moments of death. Even with the hunter's advantage, he's just as naive as the deer.
That voice still echoing in my ear definitely belongs to me. I turned my neck and held my breath, looking at myself sitting on a table behind me.

"Great and now I'm crazy," I muttered, running my hands through my hair.

She sits up and hops off the circular table, roughly grabbing my chin with her hand, giving me a closed-lip smile forced down at me. She squeezed my cheeks with a low chuckle.
"Crazy?" she reiterated, "Oh, because you're talking to yourself. I'm just as real as you are."

"Yeah, right. Of course, you are."

She walks over, her captivating eyes never breaking from mine, and sat on the table in front of me as she swings her legs over, looking up at the ceiling.

"Now that you cut ties with those boys, aren't you all alone? Kinda embarrassing."

I lifted an eyebrow and sighed. "Right, what would you do since you're more me than I am?"

"First off, I wouldn't even be in this situation. I mean, it is your fault for playing hero. You should've acted like any other person and waited until the professionals got there."

I scoffed and turned my head from her. "Wow, super helpful."

"But, if somehow this is an inevitable point in our timeline, I'd go meet Shigaraki and tell him to cut the bullshit. Not how you did the last time and nearly died, but this time with a plan. Maybe a hero raid," she comments, lifting an eyebrow.

"The professional hero's? I mean, I would definitely get in trouble if they knew that I knew about the hideout and have connections with Shigaraki—."

"I was talking about Class 1A. They're eager students and would do anything for an opportunity. No ties attached you just have to tell them that you 'just found out some information' and plan with them."

Wait, this could work. Should I get All Might in on this? He is their teacher, but then again this could backfire if the villains saw him.

"Alright, anything else?"

"Yeah, check your drink for me," she says, getting off the table, smirking a little.

"Why?"

"Because you're talking to yourself, that's kinda weird. I'm just a manifested version of your subconscious."

Time flew by quicker than I imagined, but I've been planning every single minute of every day. This is deeper than it seems, I just know it. Shigaraki is keeping me in the dark for a reason and I'm not afraid to unearth whatever he's planning.
All Might never actually visited me my entire stay but has sent other people, some professional hero's and some just random friends of his, to check up on me. I know he's not my dad or anything, but it kinda hurt that he didn't see me.

But he's finally picking me up today so that's something to look forward to.

Walking down the hospital hallways, I sat in the commons, swinging my legs as I looked around the vacant space around me. Gazing out of the large glass windows near the front, light snow started to fall. I widened my eyes and a small white aura started to form around my but quickly died down.

I felt my phone start to buzz in my jean pocket.

With a shaky hand, I forced myself to pick it up and answer. I put it up to my ear and shut my eyes.
