it's funny
how others seek for love and
expect happiness they thought
it'd bring unto them, not knowing that
even on summer times, they were
always nimbus clouds hiding as
they prepare to pour the rain
many people asked for summer-
days full of laughter and dearest moments
that they wish to always remember
a scenery to hold, and the blooms of
every flower that they always see on
every corner.
the trees that'd dance cordially
just like how you want them to be.
a scenery which you could only see
in fairy tales and your dreams-
just to wake up that they were only
a vague de ja vu from your
mischievous past.
how lucky
are those who were given the chance
to feel the summer breeze
while in the cabin, i was always there
sitting as i carry the disappointment
and the curiousity why i was given rain
when i just wished for a very fine day to be happy.
