A/N This man knows exactly what he's doing

We arrive back at my car, late into the night. We'd gone to dinner, kissed, wandered the park again, kissed, kissed some more, went to the café for hot chocolate, and oh yeah, kissed again.  I was drunk on the feel of his lips on mine and high on the way he made me feel.

"Mm, I don't want to go home," I complain. "I want to spend more time with you. I don't want this night to end."

He tilts his head to the side as he looks down at me with his intense, yet gentle eyes. "I know, love, I don't want to leave you either, but we both have responsibilities we should return to."

I step into him and give my best puppy eyes.

His lips upturn into a mischievous grin. "Oh, don't give me that look, Lex. You'll make me change my mind."

"What about if I do this..?" I stand on my toes and lightly nip his ear, then place a kiss under his jaw.

He closes his eyes and moans. "Now, that's not playing fair," he said, wrapping his arms tight around my waist, bundling me closer to him. He backs me up against the door of my car and nuzzles his face into my neck, leaving a trail of tingling, soft kisses.

I smile and sink my fingers into his glossy, raven hair, relishing my small victory. He moves along my jawline before pulling back. "I'm going to be in a lot of trouble because of you," he says, with a devilish quirk of his mouth. He pulls his bottom lip in between his teeth before crashing down onto my lips. His elegant hands cup my jaw, his thumb stroking along my cheek as each movement heightens the passion behind the kiss.

He growls as he breaks our kiss, and rests his forehead against mine. "I'm so sorry, sweet girl, but I do need to go now. And so do you. You should get some rest," he whispers.

I sigh and nod. "I know you're right, but I don't have to like it," I reply while running my hands under his jacket and across the soft material of his sweater. Despite the thicker knitted material, I could feel every chiseled slope and rise of his well defined muscular chest and stomach.

He gives a small laugh and leans down and kisses the tip of my nose. He opens my car door and helps me inside. He gives me one more long kiss, says goodbye, then shuts the door.

I reluctantly back out and drive away, casting a thousand glances into my rear view mirror.

Hoseok POV

I watch her drive away, my heart following with her. I fight the strong impulse to take flight and go with her, but I know I must return home. I can't avoid facing my brothers.

I unfurl my obsidian wings and push off from the ground towards the skies.

I walk through the door and immediately see Namjoon. As much as I know I'll have to face him eventually, I don't want to do it now, so I turn and head to my quarters. Thankfully I don't see anyone else on my way and I quickly duck in and shut the door.

I pace the floor, my mind swirling with emotions and thoughts of consequences of my decisions. I know I love Lex. There is a great ache inside of me when I'm not with her. My choice will not change. I will be with her.

But then there is the matter of the rules placed upon us angels, specifically us guardian angels. Because we are in the most contact with humans, we must be more vigil and diligent with our feelings. But my fate isn't really my concern. I'll face that. But what about my brothers? How is this actually going to affect them?

I run my hands over my face in frustration. How can something so good, so pure as my love for Lex, be such a forbidden thing? It isn't right! It isn't fair! I slam my fist against the wall and turn and lean against it.

A quick succession of knocks sound out from my door. Apparently, I wasn't as alone as I had thought. "Come in, " I say in defeat, shaking my head.

Taehyung pokes his shaggy head in and moves in to take a seat on the edge of my bed.

"Hey, Tae. I didn't know anyone other than Joon was home," I greet trying to sound casual with my younger brother.

"Hello, Hobi," he answers. He sits quietly, processing the moment. He was always the silent, observing type, which veiled a deeper intelligence that most overlooked upon first impression.

"So, where's everyone at?" I ask.

"They're out working. We had to work more to cover since you weren't there," he says in his deep, rich voice.

I sigh at his blunt honesty. "Sorry, Tae, I know I was gone longer than I should have been."

He shrugs casually. "Most of us understand why you weren't there."

"Understand?" I ask.

"Yeah, understand. We can see how you feel about her. I mean, it isn't like we're not all a little curious," he said with a smile.

"Curious about what?"

"Curious about it all!"

I turn towards the door and see Jimin come bounding in and throw himself across the bed. "To begin with, Hobi, what was the kissing like?" He asks, while tucking his hands behind his head and looking at me from the corner of his eyes.

"Jimin, I am not going to tell you all the details," I laugh and lightly push him.

"Aw, come on, it's the least you could do!" He whines, "Come on, what does it feel like kissing a human?"

I grin at him and Tae. "Well, as you know, they are a lot more passionate in pretty much everything they do, including kissing. Especially kissing. It is like flying at your top speed, only you feel everything around you and your sense of touch buzzes like you're being filled with electricity. And you finally understand the carnal cravings that humans have, because it becomes all you want," I look between my two younger brothers. "What we feel among angels is nothing compared to what humans can feel and amazingly pass on to us."

Tae and Jimin exchange a look of wide eyes. Just then the door bursts open and in charges Jungkook and tackles the three of us on the bed.

"JK, what was that for?" Jimin's muffled voice calls out from the bottom of the pile.

"Because you guys came in here and started asking questions without me," he pouts as he disentangles himself from his brothers. "It's a good thing I was eavesdropping at the door, so I didn't miss anything."

I roll my eyes at my youngest brother. "Kook, seriously, how can anything be a secret with you around."

He just smiles his big bunny-like smile in response.

"You know, I've thought about trying it myself," Taehyung suddenly admits.

We all look at him shocked. "Tae, you thought about it?!" I ask, incredulously. "I would have never expected that from you."

"Yeah, we all know I would have been the one who would try it first," Jimin jokes, his sly smile crossing his features.

"Jimin, yo-" But I was interrupted by the presence of Jin standing in the doorway.

"Namjoon and I would like to speak with you, Hoseok," he says, then turns on his heels and walks away.

"I guess the party's over, huh," Jungkook says, his eyes big.
