A/N Uh oh... ;)

I look up at Jackson, shocked. I was speechless. Yes, he was gorgeous and quite charming, but what about Hoseok? I mean, I had just met him, and nothing has been defined, heck, I don't even have his phone number...

"Lex?" Jackson asks, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I blink up at him, still unable to answer.

His big smile starts to waiver. "Oh, dang. Was I too forward?" He continues, biting his bottom lip, "Sorry, I just tend to go for what I like. But I'm not a creep, I promise!"

I laugh and roll my eyes. "No, it wasn't too forward."

"So, what's with the hesitation? Is it me? It's me, isn't it. I'm just not cute enough for a beautiful girl like you."

I roll my eyes again and give him a playful push. "No! And you know you're cute." I tease back.

"Well, I guess that just leaves one thing. You have a boyfriend, don't you?"

"Well, no, not exactly..." I trail off, wringing my hands.

The right side of his lips pulls up into an impish grin. "Then, can I have your number? Can I ask you out for dinner tonight?"

" I..." I reply, hesitating.

"Hey, I heard a 'no' when I asked if you had a boyfriend."

"I said 'not exactly'," I counter.

"So, he is the problem, then," he says.

I stood looking at him, chewing my bottom lip, uncertain of what to say.

Jackson reaches his hand out and takes mine in his, running his thumb lightly across my skin. "C'mon, it's just dinner. We won't even call it a date. We'll just be two people eating food, at the same restaurant, at the same table. See, definitely not a date. Whatdya say?"

He pushes his lower lip out, giving me big, brown, puppy dog eyes.

"Okay, okay," I sigh, conceding to his pleas.

Just then the bell to the door rang. I drop my hand from Jackson's and step around the aisle to see who had entered.

"Oh, hi, Alexis," Gail says, giving me a wave. "Thank you so much for helping me out for these couple hours."

"No problem. It was good to get back in here," I answer, giving her a smile.

"Well, it was a big help for me. You're welcome to head home now," she says.

"Thanks, I think I will," I answer.

Jackson steps out and saunters up to the counter, The Stand  cradled in his long fingers. He places it on the counter and Gail goes around to ring him up.

"Did you find everything you wanted?" She asks him.

"Oh, most definitely," He drawls, looking directly at me. "You have quite the selection here."

I feel my cheeks flame from my deep blush.

"Well, I'm glad we were able to help you find what you need," Gail replies, oblivious to the flirting he was shooting my way.

I duck my head, trying to hide the color in my face. I step behind the counter, grabbing my things. "I'll see you later, Gail. Have a good day!" I say, trying to make my way out the door as quickly as possible.

"There you go, young man," she says, handing Jackson his bag. "See you later, Lex!" She calls out to me, as I give a wave and leave the store.

"Hey! Wait up," I hear his quick footsteps as Jackson runs up behind me.
