A week later, I was finished with my rehab. I was happy that i didn't have to limp around. Kunimitsu was still continuing his rehab alone. We called each other everyday. School was great. I was in the same class as Oishi and he helped me get around and helped with my assignments. Ryuzaki-sensei made me manager of the boy's tennis team and I got my very own jersey as well. At least it had a skirt.
I met with Ayana at his house a couple of times. She wanted to know me better. She even showed me his baby pictures. {So cute!}. After an hour, I checked the time. 3:00 pm. I told Ayana that I had to go grocery shopping. I said my goodbyes and left.
I walked to the grocery store for my mother now a days. She had been busy with therapy session that she wasn't home all the time. I planned to make dinner tonight. I was about to turn to a corner to get inside of the grocery store when I bumped into a lady. She dropped her groceries on the floor. "I'm so sorry," I said. I proceeded to pick up her groceries for her "It's alright," i heard the lady said. I just froze. The voice sounded familiar. I lift my and saw the ladies face. I was shocked to see who it was. {Mom!}
After how many years, I see her for the first time. She has gotten older. She notice me staring. I shook my head and gave her the groceries. "Thank you my dear," she said. "Um...your welcome," I said and quickly left to go inside the store.
After an hour at the grocery store, I bought four bags of groceries. I made it back home. I saw mom and dad's shoes. But there was a pair of shoes that I didn't recognized. I went to the kitchen and saw mom about to cook dinner. "Welcome home. Dad brought a co-worker for dinner. Why don't you introduce yourself," she said. I dropped the groceries on the table and walked to the living room. I walked to the living room and saw dad sitting on the couch. "Hi dad," I said. "Oh hi Yumi. I want you to meet someone," he said. I turned my head to man who looked at our pictures on the walls. He turned his head towards me. I recognized the eyes. I just froze in place. {Hiroji!!!} He came up to me. All I could do was stare.
