The New Alpha And Luna

Ariel's pov :
I quickly got out of the car with Eric following closely behind. "What are you trying to do?" he pulled me towards him, with an expression on his face saying that he wants the truth. " You found your mate, alpha aren't you going to introduce her? ". I said purposely using his title to remind him that he is still an alpha.

To be honest he has been really submissive from the moment I met him, which doesn't suits his image as an alpha.

He should have argued with me when I took him out of his pack or when I left him at the salon but he only did as told like a obedient child.

I had a feeling that he was afraid of losing his position after being absent for so long so I thought that maybe reminding that he still has his position will get his mind straight.

I then mind linked Samantha asking where she was. " Come to the pack house it's still empty" Samantha replied.

I then walked towards the pack house with Eric who was in a deep thought. Once I reached the pack house, I noticed the door was open and standing there was a very excited Samantha. " Greetings alpha".

She said with her attention directed towards Eric. I took the bag from Eric and shoved it to her. She quickly took it went to the nearest bathroom to get changed.

I was left alone with Eric so I tried to start some sort of conversation " hey which one is your room?" I asked him. He looked around and pointed towards the third floor.

I rushed through the flight of stairs eager to see his room. He was hesitantly following behind. Once we reached the third floor he guided us towards a room.

Once the door opened I noticed that the room had a very dark theme every thing was in dark black except the tile that were white. There was a golden and black door that must lead to the bathroom and another see through blue door.

There must be a wardrobe behind that door however one odd thing was that the room was filled with Liam's scent.

His scent was still nice to me but Eric's scent was just completely alluring. He looked a bit disappointed, so he was hesitant about this, he must have a doubt that his room was already occupied.

I still went further into the room examining the walls covered with the darkest shade of green. " Ariel let's go, as you can see it's not my room anymore, everything here is already changed". I heard Eric's voice behind me.

" Everything that was once your's is always going to be your's. If these things decided to change their owners I'll burn them all down to ashes. " Eric chuckled a little at my words.

Seeing him happy makes me happy instantly. " Now want to mark this room again?" I asked him." How? ", he asked me clearly amused. " By filling it with our smell." I replied before smashing my lips into his. I was trying to control myself but his sexy face makes it really hard and that chuckle earlier that was the end of my patience.

I pushed him to the wall slightly nibbling his bottom lip, his taste is another turn on you all must think that I am like a lovesick teenager but the thing is that it's pretty common for vampires to fall hard after seeing their mate.

The need and craving gets worse in seconds. Eric was shocked at first but then he responded to the kiss. Not able to stop myself I pushed my tongue in his mouth getting more of his sweet taste which made him moan he started to fight my tongue with his own thus deepening the kiss, I slightly tucked the ends of his hair while his hands made their way to my waist.

I moaned feeling overwhelmed by his touch. He changed our positions so that now my back was against the wall. I was on cloud nine feeling his tongue fighting mine for dominance when a knock on the door brought us out of our little world of pleasure.

Samantha peeked her head and then said " I really hate to interrupt, but your arousal is filling whole house plus Alan and Jackson are running out of things to fight with each other. And your lipstick is smudged so just make yourselves a bit more presentable before coming down." I laughed at her statement." You look beautiful Sam. " I complimented her.

I briefed Alan about what was I planning on doing as we walked towards the hall where the ceremony was taking place.

The hall was simply magnificent, nothing compared to my Palace but still undeniably glorious covered in a theme reminding you of a scene in titanic. The hall was filled with about 400 people. There were alphas and betas of different packs mingling with each other. Some were just standing in the corner, some at the bar. However the one's standing out the most were Alan and Jackson both still insulting each other over trival things. As soon as they noticed our presence they hugged each other resolving their differences in a second shocking those around them.

They took long steps and stood infront us in a sec. " Finally Ariel! I thought you were going to ditch us." I rolled my eyes. " time to get this over with" I said eagerly.

I noticed Eric getting more and more uncomfortable. I looked around to see that everyone especially Liam was staring at my mate.

I intertwined my hand with Eric and walked us towards the stage. Alan handed me the mic that God knows from where he got. I passed the mic to Eric and tightened my hold on his hand.

Eric's pov:
Saying that I was scared will be an understatement. I originally thought that I would be dead by this time but here I am alive and standing on my own feet, about to get my title back.

I am not worried about what Liam and Jordan might do I am worried about my people, are they going to accept me back? After I left them with Jordan to suffer for 3 years are they gonna believe me again? What if they don't see me strong enough to be their alpha?.

Ariel held my hand tightly in her small one. The sparks were honestly the only thing keeping me collected right now. I took the mic from Ariel and for the first time looked towards my people. They were relieved, seeing them like this washed away all of my previous thoughts.

"Hello the people of Silvermoon, it's been a long time." I said in a calm still powerful voice.

At first they were looking at me like they were still dreaming but then a course of "welcome back alpha" started. All of my tension was gone and I was relaxed now.

Standing in front of my people I was feeling stronger now, I considered myself lucky to have such a supportive pack. I could feel the presence of my wolf stronger than before. " Today I am standing here to announce three things.
First, Jordan is stepping down from the position of temporary alpha.
Second, I am going to hold a meeting in 5 days to discuss some changes that I am going to make regarding our pack.
And last but not least, to announce that I have found my mate and I am officially going to announce her as your Luna in 2 days. "

There were loud cheerings, showing that the pack is looking forward to meet their new Luna. I glanced towards Liam who looked shocked but aside from that there was pain lingering on his face. He was looking at Ariel with a heart broken expression," Is he mad at her for bringing me back from coma" my wolf spoke. " maybe" I thought.

His stare on my mate was making me uncomfortable, I was feeling a weird need to show him that Ariel is mine now. So I protectively rested my hand on Ariel's waist pulling her slightly closer, she instantly leaned onto me minimising the distance between us.

Liam gave me a look full of hatred before he stormed out, as for Jordan he was nowhere in sight, which isn't a good sign. What is he upto now? He cannot do anything in front of so many people right?
