I checked the map once more, still feeling Jashinist's eyes on me and I softly sighed, almost feeling the scythe leaning on my back.

Hidan started running through the forest almost breaking the trees, without waiting for me, while I just started slowly walking through wet grass.

I have walked for hours and I could feel myself feeling tired and dehydrated, so I took a small break, to place my things down, eat something and continue. Just as I took a sandwich from my bag, I felt that something fell on my head.

- Tell me it's not raining  - I whispered as I looked up waiting for more drops to fall but none did.
I felt confused but I continued eating, taking my seat again, while carefully leaning on a tree.

I felt it again, and I got up when I heard familiar laughter. I scoffed, seeing him on a high distance above me, leaning on a tree and throwing little rocks at my head.
I quickly grabbed a decent sized rock and threw it on him, but I sighed when I saw no one on a tree, and when I felt his presence behind me.

Next few days, I have to admit I felt unusual in his presence. It was odd for me because I started looking at him like at a mature person, someone who thinks and decides rationally, but then reminding myself it's Hidan I am thinking about.

I think that I just saw everything from his point of view, his passion for religion, his will to sacrifice himself and others for it, he had something he is passionate for and that is what makes him human.

I sighed, sipping tea in my cup, trying to swallow the pill I knew I couldn't. He is sitting beside me holding an empty cup in his hands waiting for sun to rise, just like me.

I didn't realise I was staring at him for that long, I just couldn't keep my eyes of him, nothing else was interesting.
He softly chuckled as he shifted his gaze up on me, slightly raising his eyebrow.
I raised my hands up in defeat quickly, as I apologized to him. I got up, and started walking, just so I would not face him after what just happened.

I felt as if he was suddenly being decent person, but at the same time I feared of being manipulated by him which in theory, was really possible.

He would usually speak more to me, be more respectful, and I knew he wanted to get close.

He suddenly appeared behind me, and as I realized I let my guard down completely, I already felt his hand covering my mouth. I started panicking, as I thought that he wanted to have it his sick way with me.

- Be quiet Y/N, someone should be behind us. - he whispered in my ear, as I shivered almost feeling too distracted to react properly.
Yet, I was still trying to get out of his grip, and say something, while he just tightly grabbed my waist, and placed his scythe right below my neck.

I didn't dare to move, but I accidentally did in fear and his scythe cut sensitive skin on my neck. I winced in pain, while he barely moved still looking for enemies.

After a few minutes of failing to catch his attention, he just spoke that they are gone.

He gently lifted up my chin to see my wound, as he slowly caressed my cheek, still looking at my neck. I looked up at him, feeling slight blush creeping on my cheeks.
He lowered his head down, taking a stronger hold on my waist, and licked drop of blood that was about to fall on my shirt.

I felt my cheeks getting warmer and warmer by his sudden actions.
I didn't know if I was more distracted to react by pain I felt everytime cold air hit my neck, or because I started feeling slightly nauseous because of dehydration. I saw him slowly getting up, after that and nothing else after it all became black.

I felt a hand on my waist, taking a gentle grip before pulling me closer.
I tried to look around me feeling sharp pain on the back of my neck.

- Y/N. - said well familiar, raspy male voice. I slowly turned to my right side to see bare-chested Jashinist in the same bed.

Still half asleep, my hand reached his chest, gently going up and down. Skin looked so pale, almost like silk, without imperfection.

Despite touching, I was unable to sense warmth in him.

I moved myself closer, leaning myself on him. I placed my head on the nape of his neck and softly sighed as I closed my eyes.
