Chapter 1: The Detective

Heylli's POV

Good thing you're happy right now. Congrats sainyo ni Ainah at Seah. Your mystery was solved. It's my turn now.

Third Person's POV

She started walking continuously on the road. She is the lady with wisdom and strength. Who fights with the truth that was proven. Meet Det. Heyna Calliope Del Mundo. Mystery is her favorite game as she lives in a world full of unwanted things.

Heylli's POV

Oo, isa ako'ng detective. Isa'ng matalino'ng detective.

Well, when I say matalino, hindi naman literal. Nakakagawa din ako ng tanga'ng desisyon.

Anyways...

If nagtataka kayo kung bakit ang bata ko'ng tignan, please don't.

When I was in high school I got accelerated kaya mabilis ako'ng nakapag college.

My phone rang so i picked it up.

"Hello, Detective Del. Mundo" it was my senior.

"Senior Agustin, kayo po pala. What can I do for you?" tanong ko.

"I want you to meet me at my office. I have an announcement for all of you" sabi niya.

"Okay Sir, I'm on my way" sabi ko.

Late night meeting? Why?

Pumasok na ako sa building at dumeretso sa elevator papunta sa floor kung nasaan ang senior namin.

Pumasok na ako sa office nila.

Andito ang co-detectives ko.

"Det. Del Mundo, you're here. This is good. Kumpleto na tayo" sabi nila.

Umupo na ako sa upuan.

"Sorry if I have to call you this late. It's unimportant pero gusto ko sana'ng personal na sabihin sa inyo ito" sabi niya.

Lahat nagtinginan sa sinabi nila.

"Lingin sa kaalaman ng lahat, this Sunday is my 60th birthday" sabi niya.

Nagsigawan ang lahat.

"Party ba senior?"
"May handaan!"
"Prepare na guys"

Yan sabi ng lahat. While I remained silent.

"No, it's not about my birthday" sabi ni Senior.

Lahat tumahimik.

"I'm retiring as your senior. My service for this country is already over" sabi niya.

Lahat kami nagulat.

Aalis na sila?

"We'll have a farewell party tomorrow night. Make sure to attend, okay?" sabi nila.

"Sir, farewell agad?" tanong nung kasamahan namin.

"Well, ganun talaga" sabi ni Senior.

"Paano na po kami?" tanong ko.

Lahat napatingin sa akin.

"I mean, wala na po kami'ng senior" sabi ko.

"You’ll meet him tomorrow" sabi nila.

"Pero kayo po ang gusto namin" sabi nung isa ko pa'ng kasamahan.

"Well, I wish we could change the Law. Pero wala tayo'ng magagawa. Siguro panahon ko na din para magpahinga sa trabaho'ng ito. I'm really honored to be your senior" sabi nila.
