Yuki's POV
"Det. Royama" pagbati sa akin ng head.
"Good Morning, sir" sabi ko.
"So, the promotion of being a detective superintendent is now open" sabi nila.
"Oh, so what do you mean by that, sir? Are you promoting me?" tanong ko.
"Well, possibly" sabi nila.
"Possibly? Aren't you sure yet?" tanong ko.
"Well, actually malaki ang tiwala ko sayo Royama. You have all the requirements to be a superintendent" sabi nila.
"Kung ganun, Ano po ang problema?" tanong ko.
"Kung ganun, lalayo ka sa amin" sabi nila.
"Sir?" tanong ko.
"Sa agency natin sa Manila, may isa'ng head na magreretiro na. Kaya gusto kita'ng i-promote para maging replacement niya" sabi nila.
"So what's the problem?" tanong ko.
"The place. Kakayanin mo ba?" tanong niya.
"The Place? Kaya'ng kaya sir. I could be there. Besides, I have a brother and my friend there, so it's gonna be perfectly fine for me" sabi ko.
"Okay then, I will transfer you there. Good luck, Detective Superintendent Royama. You can go to Manila. Whenever you want, even right now" sabi nila.
I smiled and left his office.
Finally... After how many years...
I am Yukimitsu Royama, a detective. Or should I call myself a Senior.
This isn't my dream profession, but because of someone, I'm now into it.
I immediately went into my car to go to Manila.
Yes, with no hesitation, I will go there.

I received a random call from unknown number.
Wala naman sigurong masama kung sasagutin ko?
I answered it.
"Hello" panguna ko.
"Is this Det. Yukimitsu Royama? Am I speaking to the right person?" tanong niya.
"Yes, you are. Who's this?" tanong ko.
"This is Det. Juan Agustin, balita ko ikaw ang papalit sa pwesto ko" sabi niya.
"Oh the newly retired Senior Detective?" tanong ko.
"Yes, in Manila" sabi ko.
"Oh yeah. I'm sorry to hear about your resignation" sabi ko.
"Well, anyways I talked to you to invite in our farewell party tonight. I want to formally introduce you to them as they formally say farewell to me" sabi niya.
"Oh, it's okay sir. Where is the venue?" tanong ko.
"At the Agency Building in Manila" sabi niya.
"Okay sir, thank you for your invitation, I will come" sabi ko.
"Good, thank you and good bye" sabi nila.
I hanged up the call.
This night? That's pretty fast. But it's okay.
I again picked up my phone to call my brother.
