Lonely in a room full of people. It didn't make sense but its how I felt. I'm currently quarantined with my family but I was so done. My mental health was seriously at an all time low. All my family does is ruin my mood.
'family is so important'- yeah I call bullshit.
I feel like I can't be myself around them because all they'll do is criticise me. I miss my boyfriend, he FaceTimes me regularly as he is quarantining with his family too. However, his family is fun and he isn't afraid to talk to them without being lectured at.
I was up in my room, as I always am, learning a new tiktok dance when my phone started buzzing. Vinnie was FaceTiming me so I picked up.
"hey girl. how u doin'?" He said mimicking Joey from Friends. I laughed and lay on my stomach. "im good, you?" I answered wanting to know how his day was. He propped his phone up and smiled. "my day has been great so far, have you eaten today?" He asked, knowing I've been eating less recently. "yes actually I have. I had lasagne that my mom made." I said, smuggle knowing he was expecting me to say that I haven't.
I haven't let him know how I've been feeling and why I've been eating less though. This long distance thing is hard enough, and if one us found out that the other was struggling then it would make this whole thing 10 times harder.
He smiled and didn't say anything for a few seconds and then proceeded to kiss me through the screen. I kissed him back obviously. "I'm probably gonna go stream on twitch you wanna join?" He suddenly asked. "yeah what are we playing. I asked knowing the answer would be Valorant. "Umm..VALORANT DUH!" He shouted. I giggled and we ended the face time.
I miss him so much. Every time he face times me I finally feel free and not lonely anymore.
