Chapter 8: Eleven
"Honstley you did it to yourself so don't blame me." -Honestly Hot Chelle Rae
"Come on, please!" Electra begged. We we're sitting in my room, her sat my desk with my laptop, while I laid acorss my bed. I sat up and looked at her.
"Why do you want to make one so bad?" I asked her, smoothing out the shirt I was wearing. I wore a loosee red and white stiped sweter tucked into a pair of high waisted black shrots that had a thin gold belt looped through the belt loops. I had red oxfords on my feet, and the same red lipstick and natural makeup was done on me.
"Becase we haven't done one in forever!" she exclaimed, throwing her hands up. I sighed, I didn't want to do this, but either way she was going to get me to say yes, so might as well agree now.
"Fine, but if no one watches, it's on you." I said, pointing an accusing finger at her. She smiled triumphantly and spun around to face the laptop, but got stopped by my password. I rolled my eyes as she went to guess it. I pushed her out of the way, and typed it in. I opened the Internet, and went staight to YouTube. I pushed Lectra out of my desk chair and sat down while she muttered something about blondes under her breath. I laughed. I logged in, and clicked upload. When the camera light came on, I smiled and turned to Lectra, who had pulled up a seat next to me. She smiled at me, and we began. I turned to face the camera, and spoke first.
"Hello, viewers!" I said, waving at the camera. "I'm back! Yes, I know I haven't done a video in forever, but I've been super busy."
"That's an understatement. You got signed, and by Simon Cowell!" Lectra said, over dramatizing the matter for our viewers. This is what we did, besides my singing.
"Oh, that. That's nothing. I met Usher." I said leaning closer to camera for affect. "Yes, viewers, THE Usher. And right now I want to thank you for your support through all my craziness and sticking by us no matter what. So thanks." I added in with a smile.
"Yes, thanks. She is quite crazy." she said pointing to me and doing the cuckoo sign. Which earned a 'hey' from me. "And, did we mention we're no longer in our home state of beautiful California, but in London?" Lectra added.
"Oops?" I said it as more of a question, raising my shoulders in a shrug.
"Oh, and we have a surprise for you!" Electra said, clapping her hands together. I looked at her confused, what surprise? "She's going to sing for you!" Lectra said, pointing to me. I looked at her and shook my head furiously about to say no, when-"And she can't object or else I won't take you out shopping." I was about to interject and say that actually Alexander would be taking us, but I kept my mouth shut. "No objections? Good, let's get the guitar." I sighed, but I got up and walked over to wear I kept my guitar. I plucked it delicately out of it's case. I went and sat back down, and positioning the guitar on my lap. I strummed a chord to test it was still tuned and smiled at the sound.
"Am I doing an original or a cover?" I asked as I just strummed away at the guitar, producing different tunes.
"Let's do a cover, leave your originals as a surprise." she said, with a mischievous glint in her eye. I don't think I'm going to like what's coming.
"Do you have a request, dearest Electra?" I asked her, already knowing the answer. She nodded excitedly, like a little kid on Christmas. She leaned forward and whispered it in my ear. I nodded, getting excited as well.
"Here it goes, guys. Be prepared for awesmoneness." Lectra said, smirking at the camera on my laptop. I strummed the chrods on my guitar before beginning.
"Can you feel me
When I think about you?
