Chapter 13: Acca Awkward
"Shut up and let me go, this hurts I tell you so." - Shut Up And Let Me Go The Ting Tings
I broke out into a fit of giggles, unable to contain my laughter any longer. "Never do that again."
Jacob laughed, stealing some of my popcorn.
Jacob and I were sitting in the empty theatre. He'd taken me to see Pitch Perfect, and he randomly started singing along, completely off key too. Did I mention that he didn't know the words? Funniest thing ever.
I plucked a Sour Patch Kid out of the box, eating it. I felt eyes on me, and I could see Jacob watching me out of the corner of my eye.
"What?" I asked him, but he just shook his head, kissing my cheek. Heat flooded to my cheeks, causing him to smirk.
When the movie ended, Jacob and I walked back to the house. It wasn't far, and we kept ourselves entertained as we walked; talking and laughing.
It was dark when we got back, and Jacob pressed a kiss to my cheek before heading into his room. An arm shot out and grabbed me on my way to my room.
I was pulled into a room, the door closing behind me. I recognized the room as Electra's, and her and Cher were seated on her bed.
I fell into her desk chair, curious to see why they dragged me into here. "So?" Lectra asked me, obviously wanting the juicy gossip.
But I had none to give.
"So, what?" I asked her curiously.
"Did you two kiss yet?" Cher asked, getting straight to the point; no beating around the bush for her.
I shook my head. We hadn't actaully kissed yet. We'd come close a couple times, but we always get interrupted. "Why not?" Lectra asked, confused. I shrugged.
"Its not the right time." I stated simply, spinning in the desk chair. I stopped, suddenly becoming dizzy. "Woah, I need to stop doing that." I mumbled, my head spinning. I blinked a couple times, the room finally coming into focus. "What?" I asked them when I saw they're amused smirks.
Electra shook her head, smirking at me. I sighed, pushing myself out of my seat and out of the room. I crashed on my bed, exhausted. Simon had been really pushing me in the studio, and I got tired really easily.
The next morning, I woke up at five am, which was weird because I never wake up early. I like my sleep.
I rubbed my eyes as I walked into the kitchen. I made myself some coffee, pouring it into my mug. I jumped almost a foot in the air when I saw Usher leaning against the counter, sipping some coffee.
He smirked when I jumped. "What are you doing up? You shouldn't be awake for another seven hours."
"I was wondering the same thing." I stated, my voice still groggy with sleep. I took a sip of my coffee, the warm drink burning my throat as it went down.
Cher skipped into the kitchen, oddly happy. She bounced on her toes as she made herself some tea.
Usher and I exchanged a look, wondering what was wrong with her.
"What do you think? A clone?" I asked him.
"It's possible." Usher nodded, agreeing. Cher gave us a weird look, but couldn't keep the smile off her face.
"What's possible?" A groggy Electra asks as she stumbles into the kitchen, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.
"That this Cher is a clone." I told her with a shrug, acting as if it was a completely logical thing to say. Electra raised an eyebrow at us, obviously confused.
