Chapter 11

Michael

I looked inside the room and to Ariana who had her tiny face red and with dried tears in her cheeks. She was shaking and was obviously terrified so i ran next to her and hugged her tiny body

"We're gonna die Mikey, I'm scared" Ari held onto me, hiding her head on my chest

"Shh, we're not, we're going to be fine sweetie" i whispered hoping all this would be over soon

"Sure, everything will be fine" Another voice which i recognized as Marina's spoke, but i don't think she meant for us to hear since she continued speaking after that "Sure, it'll be a great idea father, go to Florence, marry a prince, be the queen, nothing can go wrong, right? But hey! There's a flaw in your plan, your so precious prince is the homosexual governor of a city in war, and now we're all going to die"

"Would you please shut up" I said "You're scaring her"

"Why? Is the truth, we're all going to die! You, me, her... " Then Marina bursted into tears, shaking and with her arms crossed around her waist

"Mikey" Ari pulled my arm to whisper in my ear "I know a way to get out of here"

"What?"

"I found it when i was playing around the castle" She snuffled standing up and walking towards the closet "Help me move this" i did as she said and pushed the wardrobe aside

"What?" I asked when Marina mumbled something i couldn't hear

"I'm pregnant"

"Oh..." Then everything was silent, the only thing I could hear were the small sobs of Marina

"Over here" Ari called me, pointing at squared black gate on the floor that probably would lead to an exit

"Luke told us to stay her-" i was cut by some people talking in the other side of the door and then a big body hitting the door in order to break it. They were trying to get in

I looked at the bottle and sword in my hand and hid the bottle in my pocket, as for the sword i placed it on my belt for better access

"Fuck Luke" Marina stood up and approached the gate "I have a child to take care of" She jumped into the small hole in the floor and started to hike down the ladder

"Go" i motioned Ariana to do the same and once she was down enough i followed them. The door continued moving and it will go down any time soon

When i closed the gate, the door opened
