Candies, Coffee And Onions

Mayesha's POV

I secretly made my way into the party that was being held for Jungkook's birthday. I kept his present with the other gifts and looked around the place to look for the birthday boy.

"Noona! You came!" I heard a excited shout from behind me, making me jump. I immediately tuned and clamped his mouth shut with my hand. "Shush bunny boy! Keep your voice down."

I looked around to see if he had attracted a particular person's attention. I sighed in relied when I did not see him and quickly removed my hand from his mouth. "Happy Birthday Kookie-ah. Sorry I can't attend the party, I have somewhere to go...." His smile fell, which instantly produced guilt inside me.

Aish I can't see this doe-eyed bunny boy sad. It kills me!

"Noona is sorry Jungkook but I have to leave now" I said before hugging and quickly making my way out of the party. If I stay there any longer and watch his sad face, I will surely stay.

But I need to get to Palawan right now. I can't stand this place at the moment.

I got in my car and quickly drove away to the airport.

(time skip)

"Pass please" I handed the guard my pass, who tore it into half and gave me back with one half remaining in his hand. I thanked them before going through the doors and towards my plane.

"Mayeshaaa!" I heard Johan shout from the distance, waving his arms violently. I laughed from how funny he looked before waving him back. Once I reached him, the stewardess took my bags while Johan and I hugged.

"Sorry for making you come so suddenly" He waved his hand brushing of my apology. "You are my boss and a very good friend so anything for you but I need an extra pay" I laughed at his words before patting his back harshly.

"You greedy bastard!"

"Hey! I have a family to feed!" He said with an offended tone while putting his hand on his heart, making me laugh loudly.

I can already feel myself getting a bit better.

"Let's get ya to your island!" I climbed up the stairs and into the plane. Within a few minutes, the plane started and before I knew it, we were in air.

"Mayesha!" I immediately looked right to see Aurney making her way towards me. The whole flight was filled with talks with Johan, occasional sad plus happy moments and some games, other than that the plane was completely quiet.

"Hey gurl! Is my car ready? " I asked as soon as we broke the hug. "Yeah its outside, here are the keys and...." She handed me the car keys and looked at expectantly. "Yes, you are free to go. I don't know how long I'll stay so be ready to be back when I call you" I said making her squeal.

"Finally! I found you babe!" I heard a deep voice say from behind Aurney. Aurney stiffened visibly and turned around to see her.....hubby?

"Oh hello" A fairly tall guy with dark skin, blue eyes and blond hair walked towards us, extending one of his hand to shake for me and another wrapped around a now blushing Aurney.

"Hello I'm Mayesha and you?" He gave me a grin before saying "I'm Miguel, nice to meet my girlfriend's boss." I looked at Aurney with amused eyes and she turned away.

"Now I know why are you were so happy huh" I teased Aurney making her slam my arm. "Owee woman!" I hissed and pinched her stomach.

All the while, Miguel laughed at our interaction.
