"... Remember angel, I'm with you till the end of the line."

For some reason, I felt like he said that to me before. Maybe it was just me going crazy, maybe not.

The fact that I could remember Jared was a start.

I was suddenly over whelmed with grief. Remembering the feeling of love I felt for this deceased wolf. What happened between us? More importantly how did he die?

"Thanks Cole..."

I stared into his blue eyes. For some reasons it looked like electricity was running through them.

"Cole... What's up with your eyes?"

He looked puzzled for a moment.

"What....what do you mean?"

"Your eyes, it looks like electricity is running through them."

"Oh shit!"

Wait what? What was so wrong with it?

"Cole what is it?"

"It's... It's nothing"

I could hear the hesitation in his deep voice. I could feel the fear rolling off of him.

"Cole.... What is it"

"It's nothing Ivy don't worry about it.... So what did you remember?"

I glared at him for not telling me but didn't push. It was obvious he wanted to figure this thing out.

"Not much just.... Just that I loved him"

I watched as his face got red, jealousy taking over. I just laughed.

"What!? What's so funny?" He crossed his arms across his chest in a pout. This just made me laugh even harder.

"It's... It's just...-"

I had to struggle to speak because I was laughing so hard.

"It's just that it looked like someone threw a tomato at you!"

"Wow... I'm glad that you find my jealousy hilarious...."

"hey-" I held my hands up over my head as If surrendering.

"You said it, not me" with that, he grunted and pushed himself up to stand. He brushed the dirt off of his hands and sighed.

"Great..... Smart ass"

I just stood up and smiled.

"Yah I know, I'm smart and I have a great ass"

I couldn't help but laugh when I watched him face palm himself.

"Tha-"

"Shhhhh!!!-" I yelled as I put my finger up to silence him.

"The great and powerful Ivy is speaking! You mustn't talk over her or she'll have your head!"

I could feel a grin cream across my face. The look on his face was priceless!!

Alpha's weren't used to being told what to do much less be interrupted in mid sentence.

"Bu-"

"Put a can in it mr.alpha Ivy speaking!"

His eyes widened and I laughed harder.
He pointed a finger at me accusingly.
"What did you ju-"

"I said can it!"

He froze, his finger mid point and his mouth open.

"But I-"

"No buts! Go-"

I pointed my finger to the tree behind us.

"Go take a time out! Go go on"

I waved him off over to the tree and laughed as he growled and stomped away, only to run strait into pole that held up some lights. A loud grunt was heard as cole walked back away from the pole rubbing his head.

I burst out laughing as a bump started to grow on the middle of his forehead. He looked like a freaking unicorn!

"I hope your happy Ivy. Now I have a bump! Is it that big? Is it bad?" I held back a snicker as cole ran his hand along his head, searching for the bump. His hand froze when he found it.

"Holly fuck! What the hell? Now I look like a fucking un-"

"Unicorn."

I finished when he started struggling for words.

"What the hell is a unicorn?"

I gasped.

"Have you never heard of a unicorn?! They are the most awesome magical creature out there! Has your mom never read you fairy tales?! What is life!? You, you my friend-"

I poked his chest with my finger.

"- you are a disgrace, I... I shun you. you are shunned"

I pointed an accusing finger at him and turned to walk away. A slow grin was crawling up my face. By now I'm sure I looked like a maniac.

I could hear cole pull out his phone as he started to type something. Cole started to mumble something that he was probably reading from his phone.

"The unicorn is a legendary animal that has been described since antiquity as a beast with a large, pointed, spiraling horn projecting from its forehead....." I couldn't help but snicker.

One of the most powerful alpha's in the world just looked up the definition of a unicorn.

Lol this chapter cracked me up😂 if you guys didn't think it was funny then that's fine too. I'm trying to make my chapters more funny but.... Yah. How funny Is it that cole doesn't know what a unicorn is??? Anyways
