"Hey ivy, why is cole running away?"
I looked at Jared.
"What do you mean?"
"He's running into the forest."
"Oh...." I ran over to the window just in time to see Coles white fur disappear behind the tree line.
A loud howl cut through the forest and I groaned in pain. I felt my self fall to the floor. Every where hurt, my arms, legs, face, it felt like I was burning.
"IVY!!"
I could feel Jared pick me up in his arms.My head started to hurt and I felt dizzy. I was fighting my eyes to stay open. I got tired. Then I let my eyes close.
"I love you"
I looked up, warm arms were wrapped around me, they made me feel safe. Coles bright face shone down on me, making me smile. The warm grass was soft against my back.
"I know you do" I replied.
He smiled at me and leaned down to kiss me.
"I'm so happy your my mate..... I love you so much... I love you angel."
"I....-" I kissed his lips, they were warm and full. His touch sent shivers down my spine.
"-love.... You..... Too"
His fingers curled around my hair and he pulled me up to sit next to him.
"Look how beautiful it is" I stated as I looked put into the sunset. The light orange made the sky shine.
"Your beautiful" I turned to look at him. A sudden surge of love almost overwhelming me. He was mine. He would always be mine. His beautiful face and his dark hair. His smile, his eyes, his love. It will always be mine, he will always be mine, just as I would always be his. He was my mate, my everything, my other half, my world. And I knew, for the first time, with out him, there would be no me. I loved him. And I knew he loved me.
"Ivy!!!"
My eyes shot open and I looked up, expecting to be wrapped in Coles arms. I never realized how strong the pull of mates were.
"Oh...."
My skin still felt like it was on fire and I knew something was wrong.
"You okay?"
"Yah.... Flashback"
"Your eyes turned silver!"
Jared waved his hands in the air.
"Yah... They do that.... We have to go, I think cole is In trouble."
He nodded. Without hesitation. I see why I loved this silly wolf. But not imn that way, I loved him like a brother.
"Ok... Let's check it out, but you have to promise me something."
"What?"
"You have to promise that we won't do anything, with out Coles pack, you are there luna now...oh don't stare at me like that! I can sense the power radiating off of you! Anyways, you can't do anything without them if it evolves your safety, so promise me?"
I looked up into his brown eyes.
"Fine, I promise."
