Epilogue

Coles POV

Five years later

"Hey Luke..." Luke looked at me, tears in his eyes.

"It was my fault..." He muttered.

"No it wasn't... She saved you..." He sniffles.

"Yeah... Exactly..."

I sighed.

"Come on... It's about to start"

We walked over the the chairs, the grass soft under my feet. I glanced up, Jared and his Rebecca were sitting together.

Rebeca was Jarred's new girlfriend. She was a vampire in Miles's coven. I didn't know he had lost his mate as well. But he seemed happy now.

Ivy sat down next to him, whispering in his ear.

"I would like to thank all of you who came here today-" Cameron was standing near a coffin. Tears in his eyes.

"Liah would have wanted you here... She would want me to speak and thank you for coming... But... I-" he started crying. His shoulders shaking.

"Come on Cameron" miles guided him off of the stage, his red eyes meeting mine.

I nodded. Miles was supposed to speak, but I told him I would because he broke my curse.

With a sigh I walked up to the stage, Luke's eyes never leaving my back.

"Okay... I'm not going to bore you all with a speech about how great Liah was. We all know she was great. So I'm going to tell you my favorite thing about her-" I looked at liahs parents, they were crying, hugging Luke.

"- I remember one day when we were hunting together. She wouldn't shut up about the fact I found my mate and kept pestering me about it. I remember the smile on her face that she was using to cover up how sad she was about not finding her's yet. But then, a few days later, she met Cameron... She fell madly in love with him the moment she laid eyes on him. And I knew she would do anything to protect him, just like she would with her brother.

Liah gave her life to protect those she loved. Those she will always love and those she felt she couldn't live without.

She was like a sister to me. And if I could, I would have taken her place.-" Ivy looked at me, tears in her eyes.

"-but I still remember what her eyes looked like when she died. She was glad she was dying for someone. She never wanted to grow old or die an easy death. She's always wanted to go down fighting for someone. And she did. But she's not truly gone, she will always be with us... Nothing can change that. Liah was and always will be someone you can't replace, our lives will feel empty for a while, and a piece of us will always be missing. Some of us longer than others. But that's the thing with Liah, you worn care if her leaving destroys you because you know she's worth it. Now she's up in the stars, with the moon goddess running forever. So I guess I'm saying that my favorite thing about her was her selflessness and her love. Just know, it may not seem like it, but she got the death she always wanted. To die for someone. And that's all we can really ask for, to live and die memorably."

Hey guys so I'm sorry I'm so late with an epilogue but I didn't really think to write it until redneckgirl_102 started questions. So this chapter is dedicated to her.

Anyways I hope I gave you some answers. Basically Liah died saving Luke and Jared found someone else he loved. Ivy and Coke are living happily ever after because miles broke their curse. Luke's mate is still alive and so is liahs parents. Everything else is up to you. So thanks everyone who have supported me. Love you all<3
