"Oh come on-"

"Well don't just stand around let's go!"

Flynn suddenly said as he shot a rocket launcher at the feather guy, blowing up the cabin roof and sending him back a couple of meters. Banging on his jeep for us to get in, Flynn sped off, as something occurred to me just now.

"How was I able to escape in the first place? Those weapons from level two could've taken me out."

As Flynn drifted onto the highway, he replied.

"Because I invented the tech, it was a prototype and never meant to be used again. Until Hazel mass-produced it, at the time when you escaped it wasn't ready yet. Now, after only a week, all the soldiers have it."

"Well, shit."

I enunciated.

"Yep, that's why I've got to get you guys out."

Drifting down an exit, a few feathers pierced into the windows.

"I used to work for the CIA, then I worked for Hazel."

"So you're helping us? For real this time."

I said as we locked eyes.

"Yes. Hazel wants mass genocide of those with abilities, I didn't sign up for this. She's completely lost it-"

A feather lodged into the front jeep wheels which sent the jeep into a spin before hitting a concrete wall. Before we could move, the feather guy reached his hand through the door window and pulled Eva out and up into the air. Kicking the broken door open, I scurried out of the car using my darkness or Amon to pull Flynn out of the car and placing him down safely. He was unconscious.

"Give her back to me."

Glaring, the feather guy glared back flapping his wings above me, Eva was unconscious too.

"You know how to use your words carefully."

"Give her back."

I enunciated, using my darkness to lift me off the ground to where he was.

"Would you believe me if I said I was stalling?"

My eyes widened, and I didn't have enough time to dodge it an electric pulse hit me through the chest as I rolled to the ground. Before I could recover, at least seven guards surrounded me and shot me again as my ears bled. I screamed in agony holding my ears with my hands.

"Leave him alone!"

Collapsing to the ground, Flynn was pulled away by some guards Eva was held by two more. I couldn't black out now, though my body feels like it's being broken apart I have to get up. Pushing myself up onto knees, I winced since the guards got closer to me but I continued to rise until I was completely standing. Spreading my darkness with my feet, I decided to try something new and absorbed whole people. Once it reached their feet, the seven guards around me fell into my darkness, as a devilish smirk grew on my face.

"When you kill it gives you power when you eat humans..."

Clenching my fists closed, they were crushed down until they were nothing but a pool of blood, even that would disappear.

"It makes you a god."

I laughed as night started to take the sky, easily blocking any shots with a wall before sucking the guards into my darkness. I didn't even have to wave my hand. The more I ate the stronger I felt, the feather guy was smart and flew into the air. But I reached my darkness out and grabbed his left-wing, slammed his down onto the street, and dragged him too me. Dodging some feathers, I broke his left-wing as he screamed we were face to face.

"Hey listen-"

"I told you to give her back to me."

His eyes widened, as I sucked him down into my darkness but I decided to make him suffer a little going slowly so that I could hear every bone crack and organ stabbed. The only thing that was leftover was a feather to remember him by, pity, inhaling I could feel myself getting stronger from absorbing him. My darkness covered me from head to toe, making me three times the size I used to be. Horns grew from my forehead, claws from my fingertips, huge wings flapping out of my back, and medium tale whipping behind me.

"Now, it begins."

My teeth become razor-sharp, I smiled as I became Amon from head to toe. We fused completely, as my body was pitch black and muscular. I was a full-fledged demon now, and I was loving it.

"Blake..."

Eva was approaching me, as my feet cracked the ground stepping to her.

"Take me with you."

"Are you sure? I'm Amon now."

The bass in my voice to prove it.

"We'll agree to disagree, but I still love you."

Looking her up and down, I was started to feel surprised but realized that's just who she was.

"Take me with you too."

Flynn said, crossing his arms.

"I want carnage."

"That I can give you, I know where the rest of Hazel's corporations are-"

Suddenly a bullet went through his head, I reached for Eva but it was too late as a bullet went through her own. Her smile made it worse. I held both of their bodies in my hands, unable to talk as tears streamed down my face. I thought I could no longer feel, but it was a lie.

"Ha! Look at your face, such surprise."

Breathing slowly, a smile grew on my face as I looked at the sky.

"I am no longer tethered..."

As I laughed, giving Hazel direct eye contact, hers was filling with horror.

"You will wish for the sweet relief of death, and it will never come to you..."

Gently placing Eva and Flynn's bodies down, I stepped towards Hazel as she shot bullets at me.

"You don't know the meaning of suffering! "

The pistol clicked empty, as grovel filled my distorted voice.

"But you will! "

Laughing big, I picked her up into my hands before she could runoff.

"You will."

Her screams were music to my ears, as I opened my mouth, then chomped her bottom half into my mouth. Chewing on that, I placed the rest of her in a darkness pocket I grew from my side. Walking back over to Flynn and Eva's bodies, I buried them in the woods next to the cabin. Before outstretching my wings and flying back to Hazel's base.
