"Miles we're here."

He stirs up. "Wow, great house. Probably not as big as my condo but great."

"Shut up."

"Let's go. We have to be quiet tho, its after midnight."

"How are we going to carry all your shopping bags?"

"We can get them out tomorrow."

"My suitcases?"

"Obviously bring those out you fool."

"Don't call me a fool! It's not nice."

"Just shut up. I have school today."

"Sorry ma'am."

I walk up to the front door, locking the car when Miles grabs his bags.

"Oh look Miles, I opened the door for you."

"Shut up."

We spread out into the foyer. I switch the lights on, squealing at the sight of Tinsley.

"Where have you been? Everyone has gone crazy looking for you and who is this beautiful guy you brought with you?"

"I was out, it's not a big deal. And this is Miles."

Miles waves at her.

"Go up to the third floor and all the way down, that's my room."

"Roger that. See you in a bit Darce."

I walk into the kitchen, leaning against the counter facing Tinsley.

"So, where were you and who is he?"

"I was out and I already said he's Miles."

"If you were out, why didn't you just say?"

"My phone died. Anyways, I'm back."

"Sadly."

"I doubt anybody noticed."

"Dad didn't. Neither did my mother. Max was worried though, and Tabitha and Keaton and Ben and weirdly Gideon was too."

I feel slightly bad that I caused Max to worry. "I'm going to bed."

"You may want to charge your phone and send them a text."

I ignore her, pacing up to my room. Max was spread out on my couch, smelling fresh.

"You showered."

"Yup. I smelt weird."

"Miles. I-"

"It's fine. We've had many sleepovers."

I blush slightly. "Well I have school and I should sleep."

I change in front of him, not too bothered at him looking, not that he was. I slip on my silky shorts and buttoned shirt.

"Well, I'm not sleeping on this couch."

"I guess you won't. The bed's big enough."

"Great. Do you still like the right side?"

"I don't mind either."

He slides into the left, letting me take the right.

"I can miss school tomorrow. We can sleep in and then I can hit the gym whilst you change or eat."

"Would you really?"

"Yeah. I mean you still haven't told me exactly why you're here."

"True."
