I wake up later than usual, meaning I had missed my morning run. My head was slightly banging, like a small headache. I rubbed my eyes to see Tabitha spread out on my bed. I smile slightly, slipping out from under the covers. I get ready for school, not bother to do any makeup. Instead, I straighten my hair and put it into a neat ponytail. I apply some lipgloss and put my glasses on.

I didn't need glasses anymore after my Lasik eye surgery but I liked wearing them sometimes. I used to wear contacts but got too annoyed putting them on and taking them off. I shrug my black coat on and then wake up Tabitha. It was a harder task than I thought, as she struggled immensely. When she finally woke, she was full of energy, like she had nothing to drink last night or this morning.

When we'd both finished changing, we made our way downstairs.

"Normally Max picks out the chocolate chips but I guess caterers have changed them."

Tabitha picks one up, taking a bite. "These are really good."

I smile, picking up a big muffin for myself. Tinsley walks into the kitchen, stopping abruptly at the sight of Tabitha.

"Morning girls," She murmurs.

She was looking perfect as per usual. I had no clue about Tinsley's state last night after the drugs but if that were me, I'd probably feel like shit.

"Morning."

"Do you know how many calories are in that muffin?" She asks after guzzling down her water bottle.

I shrug. "I'm not really bothered."

Tabitha sniggers, causing Tinsley to eye her. "Why are you wearing sneakers?"

"I leant Tabitha the heels so she can go to her locker and get hers."

"Right. Are you riding with me or-?"

"Tabitha." I say, not waiting for her to finish.

She slams the empty water bottle on the counter, "See you at lunch."

She struts away, leaving me with a snickering Tabitha.

"Come on. We should go to." I say, taking the finishing bites of the muffin.

Tabitha stands up, slightly wobbling. "These heels aren't it. Swap?"

We quickly swap shoes, before making our way to her Range Rover. I sit in the passenger seat, admiring the white interior of the car.

"This is a great car."

"I got it for my sixteenth, even though I was still learning how to drive."

I laugh. She drives down the driveway and onto the road.

"So, you and Ben?"

"Nothing there. He's probably the biggest player I know."

"Player?"

"Yup. He probably has three different baby mama's."

I laugh, "He seems harmless."

"Yeah until feelings get involved. Plus he slept with Tinsley, so that's a no."

"I'd forgotten about that. I mean it's not too bad, he probably exaggerates."

"Maybe, I don't know. What about Keaton?"

"What about him?"

"You guys seemed..."

"Just some fun."

"Sure."

"Plus, Tinsley has some weird claim on him."

"He doesn't even like her back."
